Is that intermittent fasting? I'm trying to do the same ... It's been hard for me as I relay on binging to cop with depression and anxiety 😭
@juliakay62043 жыл бұрын
@@theonlychild4719 I’m sorry to hear you go through that. I didn’t binge but I did use food for comfort and when I was bored. First, I’m not a doctor and this is just based on my experience so I would highly recommend you talk to your doctor and do some research on your own. Having said that, I would say get rid of sugar and processed food (which are all filled with sugar) first. Don’t do anything else until you’re detoxed. It takes a month or two and it’s hard but then you won’t crave sugar at all, and I mean at all. Sugar makes you hungry, is addictive and makes you crave more sugar and gives you mood swings and worsens anxiety and depression (among many other awful side effects). Fasting helps those things too. I used to have terrible anxiety and these changes have stabilized my mood, made me feel positive and helps me deal with stress so much more easily. If you can get to that point then I would look into fasting, I shared what I do in the comments above but my journey is still evolving. Also, it’s not your fault. Food companies are downright evil and manipulative. They want you hooked on sugar because then you eat more, you buy more high-priced processed food and then you end up in the equally evil and expensive diet industry and round and round you go. They don’t want people avoiding the middle aisles and spending less and they definitely don’t want people start fasting. You are nothing but dollars and cents to them and they couldn’t care less that they are slowly poisoning you. Remember that unless you make it, it probably has sugar in it. Good luck, I sincerely wish the best for you.

No wheat, dairy, sugar, no nightshade vegetables, only grass finished meats, and only healthy oils that I have seen on your channel.The vitiligo has halted, but the spots themselves have never gone away. It was a difficult transition for me because my family still wanted to eat the traditional American diet. I have remained steadfast and I don't regret it. Mine started after taking antibiotics. I would recommend taking slippery elm, licorice root DGL (has to be dgl) , marshmallow root. To heal the gut. Gingko biloba helped mine stop spreading altogether. Oh and main thing for me was sit in the sun whenever possible as I found that doctors told me the opposite however my skin regimented in the sun the most. Do not take gingko biloba and black seed oil together and try not to mix any potent herbs. Do look into these things and see how they benefit you. I first watched this video about a week ago… i’ve slowly become a mess over the last twenty years or so, particularly after a ruptured appendix that almost killed me. Now I’ve got a LONG story with gastritis and chronic pain…and for the past five years or so I’ve been struggling with dramatically decreased energy combined with pain and arthritis. I’ve been tested /treated for multitudes of autoimmune issues, all negative- and I have a chronically high WBC AND A1C. I’ve heard “leaky gut” thrown around a few times, but nobody has given me a decent explanation…until NOW! THANK YOU!!! It all makes so much sense, and confirms my suspicions. Over the past few days I’ve changed a few more things in my diet and started taking a good enzyme supplement. And today was the first time in years that I’ve actually had energy after eating my lunch (I typically fall into a deep sleep for a few hours, which kills my productivity). Today however, I spent five hours cleaning and organizing all the little things that I let go to mess over these few years. I know that sounds boring and trivial to most people, but the point is…I actually had the energy to do something other than pass out with exhaustion. I’m really excited, I feel like it is possible that my old vitality might still be with me, it just needed to be unlocked. I still have gastritis and chronic pain….still a long way to go , but I feel like I finally know what path to take… small adjustments adding up to a big gain Thank you Thank you!!!

I was lucky enough to come across a doctor who already understood these mechanisms about 20 years ago, and she literally saved my life by making me rethink my entire way of living. I had not fully understood how leaky gut could affect the brain, though. And now it is cristal clear, thanks to your way of putting things together, simply and logically. Thank you so much Sir !!

@bernardinelermite1133 Жыл бұрын
@@rubythecraftgirl7097 Hi Ruby. I understand your concern, but I cannot answer you in just a few lines. It is a life-long process to get better and to keep up. Gut porosity is a multi factorial thing, and it evolves with time too. I'm not entirely out of it : I just do my best to keep it at bay as much as I can. In my case, it is mainly a stress problem (high cortisol) due to my hyper emotivity and hyper sensitivity, and a stressful work environment. I had a bad diet and developed a dysbiosis (yeast syndrome). But it is not all : there is a fatty liver with some insulin resistance involved. So I mainly reduce carbo-hydrate income and glycemic index level, exercise more, sleep more and change entirely my life (life place and work) to reduce stress. I could write a whole encyclopedia about all what I tried and did. Way too much to explain there, because it would be pointless to tell you what I've done without the whole explanation, for all steps. Practicing fasting helped me a lot too. I took complements and probiotics (now replaced by kefir). I also refrain from all processed food (super important !!). Hopefully I love cooking, lol. I also think that everybody is different and not sick for the same reason or in the same way (leaky gut is super complex) and has to find their answers for their own case. I hope you understand ! Wishing you all the best. 💜🍀 For your info, there is another super doctor on KZbin, who talks about all this : Dr. Eric Berg 😉

I learned from Dr. Dantini that when I stop eating the foods that I had been eating all of my life, for six weeks, my body began to heal, I lost 50 pounds and the all over pain and flu like symptoms subsided. After those six weeks, I could re-introduce those foods/drinks one at a time and should a I have a recurrence, then stay away from that food or drink. I lived on Lyrica, a nerve block, for years before I learned why my body was battling against itself. Not everyone is the same, but that has been my experience with the dreaded leaky gut. I think the worst of it was the all over pain, the flu-like symptoms, the constant yawning and feeling a need to curl up into the fetal position to relieve the pain. It was a nightmare. Only Dr. Dantini figured out my problem and helped me to heal.

From time to time, I hit a plato and loose nothing. But overall , I feel so much better with everything .this whatever it is what I am doing has made me a much healthier person, not to mention , that I love it ❤️ Actually , my husband joined me with fasting. And he gets a kick out of it, too . Top top it off , we both have extremely limited our intake on carbs and all processed food, too , because of the fasting. Best decision ever ! I never fasted, and still don’t/can’t, as I had anorexia and bulimia for 24 years. (Weight restored up 40 lbs and 2 years into recovery- will forever to go still it seems to freedom!) Needless to say my gut was a mess, but not eating or fasting is far too triggering for me. I healed my gut anyhow, though. I’m not much into processed foods or sugar, as my body was so malnourished, I needed heaps of vegetables and protein and fats. Didn’t leave much room for junk food lol! Weight restoration and hormones needed carbohydrates, as well as my mindset after anorexia, but I love most veggies, and make long fermented sourdough for bread, and have mostly whole grains for cereals when I have them. So, again, not much processed stuff. And for my gut- colostrum supplements, homemade kefir, and zinc l-carnosine. Also reduced anything really high in polyols to help with digestive symptoms. The kefir and zinc l-carnosine made a huge difference for me.

I could never get a Dr to treat the root cause rather than treat symptoms with side effects. I've been sober for 3 years after I went in for drug abuse and got meds that atleast eradicate the symptoms. The system is entirely rigged. Just like after pet insurance took off, now corporate veterinary clinics become stable with consistent clients with sick pets.
