C S Lewis is a truly inspirational author and his life strongly revealed The Holy Spirit working in his life. He suffered being snubbed by former friends in academia by embracing being born again. He was passed over for many years by Oxford and Cambridge for professors chair as they scorned his evangelical faith. He was accused of ulterior motives in supporting a widow whose son he had made a promise to in the war, to look after his widowed mother if he was killed. C S Lewis kept that promise in spite of false rumours. Many other trials were faced but The Lord honoured his faithfulness. His ministry was so anointed that he won many to follow The Lord from both academic circles, professionals, univ students and the general working people and housewives. A life truly well lived.

What is it about speaking in tongues ? I do not know of any references to it in the bible and I see no benefit for anyone. Jesus spoke clearly and directly and never minced words. Why would God want us to do this? Who do these so called languages help? No one understands what is being said. When the disciples were receiving Gods Love they spoke in LANGAGES that they had never learned so that others COULD understand Gods word. I feel this is spirit overcloaking and with it comes a certain arrogance naturally that eventually leaves the person bereft of any humility and grace.
