Who the hell gives this kinda of advice....and he didnt mention withholding intimacy....liers/cheaters/ and manipulators/golddiggers need i go on....these types of people who just dont care.... here is the answer stop making these idiots feel like they are in the right when they are clearly wrong, Appeasing people when they are wrong breeds nothing but contempt and all you want to do is run...nothing like talking to a braindead bag of bones...when all they need is to be gassed...i refuse to make people think their right when its clear that after years of banging your head against a brick wall its a clue that its time to leave and seek out some type of happiness before its to late...we only get older and time disappears then your a day late and millions of dollars short....move on from these losers while your young recognize the signs early in the situationship...good luck people...Peace

We need to take the time to really get to know the other person first. 1-2 years is not a long time if we are supposed to be with them for the rest of our life.

This hit home! I realized after 17 years of marriage that I really don’t like my husband. He’s very high-strung & easily frustrated. It’s like walking in eggshells everyday being around him. I’m not perfect but we definitely have different personalities and now that I’m in my 40’s, I prefer more calmness in my life. My husband isn’t calm. I feel constantly disrespected and under appreciated. He may feel the same because I’ve started giving up. My husband has some wonderful qualities, but his negative side is starting to outweigh the positive. Ugh. I love him but I don’t like him.

1st Take: "My advice to women is date all of them: the bad boys, the cool boys, the commitment-phobic boys, the crazy boys. But do not marry them. The things that make the bad boys sexy do not make them good husbands. When it comes time to settle down, find someone who wants an equal partner. Someone who thinks women should be smart, opinionated and ambitious. Someone who values fairness and expects or, even better, wants to do his share in the home. These men exist and, trust me, over time, nothing is sexier." Yours sincerely, Sheryl Sandberg, chief operating officer of Facebook 2nd Take: “My music is always going to make a woman feel like a bad bitch. When you make a woman feel like she’s the baddest bitch in the room, to me, that’s female empowerment.” Decently yours, Cardi B. My Humble Take: What most simps, feminist fe/males, white-knights, betas and conservative guys fail to realize: bad boys provide excitement, novelty, unpredictability and fun (fear, roller-coaster drama) to a new level. In other words, stability and commitment (no longer) won't cut it for today's 🦄. Why is that? Before she was your girlfriend, wife or lover, she already had been "run through" so many guys. And each time she slept with someone (both wo/men), she lost a part of her psyche, well-being or mind/soul/spirit. In other words, she is no longer able to have emotional attachment in a healthy or committed way. *The Myth of Male Power* by Warren Farrell *The Feminist Lie: It Was Never About Equality* by Bob Lewis *Anatomy of Female Power* by Chinweizu Ibekwe *Men on Strike* by Helen Smith *Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars: An Introductory Programing Manual* by Anonymous *The Rational Male Series* by Rollo Tomassi *The Manipulated Man* by Esther Vilar Isaiah 3:12 *Childish* leaders oppress my people, and *women* rule over them. This is some of the best advice I’ve heard so far. Marriage really takes patience and good communication. However that requires a level of self-awareness that many of us don’t have. I cannot explain my mission, vision or purpose to my spouse if I don’t know or understand it myself.

This is really good. But another one I would add (related to a couple of the others) is: THEY DON’T SHARE YOUR SENSE OF HUMOR. I think this is so important! For instance, one partner might like to engage in teasing and intense sarcasm whereas the other might feel genuinely insulted by that. Or one partner might like to make witty remarks in a dry fashion and feel profoundly disappointed when their partner never “gets” it.

@skullgarden24174 жыл бұрын
No. Of course not. Some people just don't do well in relationships while others thrive.
@javieraponte51594 жыл бұрын
No we don't, and if you do, you have a dependence problem, just like an alcoholic needs alcohol or a drug addict needs drugs, in order to feel good about themselves. In my opinion, this video is just politically correct bullshit. The bottom line is this, if you have to constantly convince yourself & your partner that both of you have to compromise & always meet their expectations all the time, just to avoid getting into arguments, you're both with the wrong partner, and just not compatible. Neither of you should have to pretend to be someone you're not, just to make the other person "happy". If you & your partner can't accept each other for who & what you truly are, you're with the wrong person, no amount of compromise is going to change that, that's better known as wishful thinking. 🤷♀️🤦♂️🤦♀️🤷♂️

@sarahd86744 жыл бұрын
Peter Parker I feel that cheating is different for every person. If you discussed it with her and if she respected your thoughts/feelings then she would have not made you question the trust you have for her. My husband got so drunk at a military ball and put his hands all over another female in front of me and he looked like a rapist because she was so much smaller than him and she was trying to walk away. The only thing that got him away was me pulling on his ear to snap him out of it. I have been fighting with these thoughts for almost a year and gave myself an ultimatum, much more has happened as well. For about a year now we have been in counseling and all I seem to hear is that he has changed, you’re selfish if you take your baby girl away, or that let it go it’s been months ago... But as for right now, I think I want to get separated to heal myself which I deserve. It hurts so much that I never stood up for myself, that I always was silent or too calm when he was the biggest jerk and Always took him in.

@@sidrakhan4409 Update, Its sad to report I can no longer carry the burden sacrifice staying in the same house with my now I call ex wife even though we are not officially divorced. I just learned my ex is playing dirty listening to her controlling mother and family. She is now openly turning my kids against me. I tried my best raising my kids to love each other and to always act and behave as a team. If one suffers we all suffer and if one is happy we all are happy. I tried reaching them no matter what my ex and I decide to do or how bad our differences are we will always stick together as one. Now my wife managed to teach at least my oldest kids that there are two teams in our family. My team the father and her team our three kids and ex wife. My youngest son is not giving in that easy and I can see the frustration as she is trying it turn him against me. From what I can tell, she won't be able to because my youngest has good common sense for his age But my oldest kids are far gone in the head and will stand blindly with my ex. No matter what I now tell my kids I will always be there for them and will always love them until my last breath. I learned my wife is so brainwashed by her family and everything she does is against what I am trying to do.

How ironical ! The title of the video says 'married to the wrong person' and suggests in every point to try make it work any how. It's good to try and give your 100% in a relationship or marriage but once it's clear the person isn't good for me or simply if people aren't happy. I believe it's better to move on and give life another chance. Everyone deserves love and happiness. Cheating or physical abuse aren't the only good reason to take a divorce. Just not being happy in a relationship is also a major reason. Anyway, the points mentioned in this video to identify a wrong partner are quite realistic and true. Thankyou for that.

Real question is why wasn't you able to foresee this when you were dating.
@quincyslawgmailcom5 жыл бұрын
Man of the north: Sometimes you cannot foresee what someone is actually, truly like is because during the early days, they portrayed themselves differently. For example: you love reading and books - they love reading and books; you love dancing, going out to dance on occasion - they, too, love going out to dance, dancing around the house. The examples can be endless. Once together, you see that what they initially told you does not match up with reality. Sometimes, not at all. It's called being duped. The person in question wasn't necessarily trying to be underhanded, malicious, etc., they simply wanted what they wanted (i.e., you), and, therefore, even convinced themselves they shared so many traits and interests with you. Which brings me to the point - it's always a good idea to take time when developing a relationship - don't move too fast, use as much discernment as possible. Of course, it's not always easy to apply the brakes but over the long term, it's definitely worth it; it is not foolproof, but it does help guard against certain heartaches. Best, Quincy's Law

The biggest problem I face is that in our relationship is that my wife wants to be the husband. At a point I couldn't take it any longer and asked her to be the husband. But no she doesn't want any responsibility. Then I understood that she wants to control me and direct me, and I have to be the husband and execute all her commands. She doesn't care about what she is doing to the relationship in her attempt to get what she wants. She is only concerned about what she wants and gets angry or always slides away my wishes. Doesn't even allows me to keep things in the house as my suggestion. She is loving and caring only when I execute her commands like a circus animal, I am not allowed to show my emotions. If I do she will create a grim mood in the house. Gives me silent treatment. She is very manipulate and gets angry when I am not manipulated. I am contemplating divorce, the only problem is I have beautiful child and stuck in a foreign country due to vivid so don't know what the process is. Anyway the point is why shouldn't I consider divorce in this situation.

IF YOU ARE IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP OR HAVING THOUGHTS OF SUICIDE PLEASE REACH OUT FOR HELP! Suicide hotline USA: 800-273-8255 suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ Call your local police department to find out what local nonprofit agencies are in your area to aid in abuse cases, often they provide free paralegal work and walk you through the legal process if a restraining order is needed! It's never too late to get help, you are never truly alone in this world, please don't consider ending your life when there are people and organizations out there waiting and wanting to help you! I realize this video is old, but I couldn't ignore how this KZbinr had some very calloused responses to some people pointing out serious issues he failed to address in this video. I came across this video because I am doing some supplemental research for my counseling training and was honestly quite alarmed by the thought process and advice of this video. I'm sure this KZbinr means well and wants to help people, but this advice if applied to an abusive relationship completely empowers the abuser and feeds a victim-shaming dynamic that narcissists capitalize on to manipulate and hold their partner captive. I've gone through a couple years of counseling training at this point and have had first hand experience with sociopaths and narcissists for years. It was a big motivation and inspiration for me to want to become a counselor, to help others navigate and heal from such dysfunction...especially after my best friend in high school tried to commit suicide and I helped her mother clean the blood off of her arms at midnight...to this day I think it was a miracle her mom happened to wake up and stop her, I'll never forget that night and I want every person to know how important their life is! Abusers aren't born, they're made. Often times, the entire family is entangled in living a double life and hold their reputation very tightly. You would never find out the truth until you're already in it, and that's why they're often serial heartbreakers. It's by design. Don't stay in a dangerous situation thinking you can change or save such a person! As I mentioned above, if anyone reading this is in an abusive relationship or having thoughts of suicide, please call the suicide hotline 800-273-8255 ...it is available 24/7. suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ That's the US number, I'm sure other countries have one as well though a quick Google search can pull it up. Additionally, please reach out to your local nonprofit agencies like Marjaree Mason Center if you or your children are in danger. Every city/state is different, but I'm sure your local police department can provide you with information to get you somewhere safe and walk you through the process. Your life MATTERS and it is a TREASURE! Please don't throw it away for any person or thing. You are not alone!

Well, I do feel like I'm married to a wrong person coz he doesn't care how I feel whenever he's hiding important matters to me. Like his drinking. I kept explaining him why it's not good when a person drinks too much and we always end up having a misunderstanding when he drinks. I've been very patient for the whole entire 9 years. He was always sorry about it ( for the lies ) but he still end up doing the same thing. We all know people who drinks a lot, mostly get into trouble. Sometimes, they didn't even know how they get to a certain place and how things happen, not sure how they get home etc. All I wanted is for him to be always safe and healthy but he never understand my point which makes me feel useless as his wife, his friend, his partner in life.

As women to women what I have come to learn most men, not all, have this thing called "dont tell me what to do" attitude. Idk why when in the end of the day as a wife or gf, you just care about them yet they dont get it. It's like children. You want them to stop doing something and you explain why this isn't right? What do most kids do? Do it again, again, UNTIL that thing you told them many times not to do actually harms them. THEN they will do something about it and all you have to say is I told you so. That's it. If you can't make him realize eventually he will have to do it on his own. As sad as it sounds.

1. And what happens if you see them for exactly who and what they are, but they keep denying it? 2. If someone cares about you, they'll care about what you're interested in. Taking an interest in theirs to get them to show interest in yours is a fools path. 3. Why aren't they asking questions? Why don't they care. Well it's because they don't care is the reason why they're not asking questions. So you have to tell them how much you want them to care? You have no idea of what it is you're talking about.
