10 Slice of Life Anime You Should Watch

Top 10 slice of life anime? Holy phucking cowsuit why? Well the horror list has been delayed till next time. I know I said it was coming out, but a new anime series appears and you end up having to redo the video. Well, that's what happened to my list. I grabbed the opportunity and made the horror list more modern. I did this partly due to prior knowledge of commenters calling one out because a new anime is suddenly the shit. Hope you don't mind my change of plans.
Anyway, here's my top 10 best slice of life anime. Hope you find something worthwhile ;)

Tho in the Anima it is a father daughter learning experience it eventually turns into a loving experience and that to me is twisted as a father daughter "would be considered either aunt or sister." Turns into a sexual desire that develops.

Based on my experience these are the best SOL I’ve watched Flying witch Hyouka Me. Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Nichijou Wolf Children(Movie) The Garden of Words ( Movie, one of my all time favourites) Hanada-Kun and Barakamon Seirokai Yukuindomo (very lewd jokes) Usagi Drop( don’t read the manga afterwords) 3-gatsu no Lion( one of the best anime I’ve encountered) Tanaka-Kun is listless Skilled Teaser Takagi- San. Lastly a absolute gem- Working. I hope you enjoy some of these.

Uchuu Kyoudai is the most feel good and underrated anime iv seen. Amazing character development and good sorytelling drives this anime. Its a diamond in the rough and those fortunate enough to watch it come away with a big smile on there faces :)

I highly enjoyed Silver Spoon, it was really moving at times and I really liked the comedic side and the thoughts on animal treatment and agriculture. The scene where Hachiken mix eggs and soy sauce with the rice still makes me drool, it looks so good!

Thank you so much for the Uchuu Kyoudai recommendation! The scene you put in the video drove me crazy because it was a major spoiler but i must admit, i couldn't stop laughing when it came up! I finished the anime yesterday and the manga today...I need more. Space Brothers is on my top 10 favorite anime now.. ahh it deserves an Oscar!!

i really really enjoyed the usagi drop anime and was really happy to learn that there was a manga series that continued on where the anime ended. but before i had a chance to read it everywhere i went to that was even remotely related to usagi drop had comments ranging from: OMG DONT READ THE MANGA IT IS HELL, WHAT A CREEPY ENDING!!!! and so on. so being the naturally curios human that i am i got to the bottom of what was so terrifying and outrageous in the manga. turns out oh and spoilers duh, that rin and daikichi become a couple and marry. now granted i was surprised at this but my reaction wasn't the hail mary what is this abomination reaction that everyone is constantly having here, my reaction was "oh so what exactly happened that led them to become a couple in the first place" so i read the manga and honestly, i loved it. it was the most realistic story that i ever read and i recommend it to everyone who enjoys heartwarming slice of life stories. people dont realize that life is unexpected, things dont always go the way we want them to or planned them out and yet life moves on. now before i go concerning the main issues that everyone has with the manga summarized as: "WASN'T SHE HIS DAUGHTER EWW WHAT A PEDO I HATE THIS". well lets look at this after reading the whole and entire story,: rin was never his daughter or aunt and they had no blood relation, even tough daikichi took care of her as a kid being her legal guardian not once did she claim or saw daikichi as her father, daikichi never saw rin in a romantic way until she confessed her feelings for him and only then did he realize this and reciprocate. rin was not a prepubescent girl but a young adult who can make her own decisions. daikicihi never did anything that would harm or traumatize rin and in fact devoted his life to raise rin, so rin is in her late teens,early twenties and daikichi is in his late 30s early 40s, so whats the big deal there, i mean these kinds of relationships arent unheard of, there both legal and clearly love each other so i dont see how there committing witchcraft or something. you know now that i think about it, the comments that hate on the manga are from western viewers, such close minded views on human life and relationships can possibly come from nowhere but the western audience, it this same audience that harbors weaboos who hate on dubs just because they cant handle the English language and feminists and sjws who seek to corrupt all our forms of entertainment. im done with this. peace

If anyone is wondering what songs are used, he's using songs by mainly Shojoskip and Tokyo Shoegazer. I remember I watched this forever ago and I could never find where the music was from until recently when I stumbled upon it randomly while checking out the Shoegaze genre.

Very nice, logical, fact based reviews of the anime. Exactly what i was looking for. Im tired of looking for "Best Anime Lists" and having the person speak in the backround just telling us how they felt about the anime, Due to everyone having there own feel of the anime, in my opinion its better to give the facts and not the feel in reviews. Like i said before i really lke the way this guy makes his videos, i've like a lot of the videos he has suggested, of the videos ive watched from him, ive seen or plan on seeing 80-90% of the anime on his lists. Im a picky person when it comes to anime b/c i dont want to be dissapointed, but im a fan of most of the anime that this guys suggests. keep it up good work.

I remember seeing Aria the Animation years and years back and loved it. I haven't gotten around to watch the other seasons but am sure to do so. This was a nice list and I'll make sure to watch most of them to get that really nice, familiar feeling.

did not realize Usagi drop had been adapted to an anime. i really enjoyed the manga before my depression got very bad. i would recommend it to anyone. technically classified as a women's manga, anyone who enjoys slice of life (with realisim) or family in general should read it.

Uchuu Kyoudai as #1 = YES! Barakamon is also one of my newly added favourites, it's such a nice anime! Beck is something that I tried to watch before, but I should really try again. Gin no Saji looks... Interesting, I guess. I'll give it a try and hope for the best :) And lastly, Usagi Drop. How have I missed this one!? I'm really looking forward to watching it now! :D

To me, one of the best slice of life anime of all-time was definitely Kanon 2006 because of how natural it felt the entire time, with the only exception being that unnecessary supernatural tidbit in the middle. There are lots more I could list, but Kanon 2006 felt the most casual and deep out of most slice of life that I have seen. The other ones felt like they had the vibe, but were not there. Even K-ON! never quite felt like it was there for some reason. However, Lucky Star kind of did due to how natural the conversation in that anime was. And it beats Kanon 2006 on being more realistic as I swear that anime solely consisted of casual conversation the entire time.

I love SoL animes- especially when I just want to relax and/or want to watch something cutesy and heartwarming. But another SoL anime that I enjoyed is called Sora no Woto, or Sound of the Sky. I guess it has some (REALLY) dark parts, but I think what I like about it *is* that contrast between the relaxing cuteness on the surface and the dark stuff if you look into it further.

Dude I recommend you Sora no Woto. (Sound of the Sky.) It very relaxing but the world feels alive and while the character are your typical slice of life archetype they all get proper development and last few episodes took a very interesting turn. It's available in crunchyroll if you have that service.

Beck as well as Usagi Drop were some of the best Anime i've seen. If you liked Usagi Drop you may consider to watch Aishiteruze Baby, it's not such an mature approach as Usagi Drop, but it's a good one non the less...

Haven't seen most of these, but I think my favorite one would be Hanasaku Iroha. It had a natural charm in it that I liked. The settings, the characters, all of it was pretty interesting. One of the most relaxing anime I've seen.

I love Non Non Biyori and Barakamon, I would put them higher up! The only other anime on the list that I've seen is Time of Eve, but that was just okay for me. I tried watching Aria, but got bored. You forgot Natsume Yuujinchou though! Well, if that counts, since it is supernatural.

Nana is just beautiful anime. It makes you have all types of emotions. It's incredibly real. The anime lets you see someone else's life/ struggles and perseverances through many people's eyes as if they are real living people. I honestly have to say this is my favorite anime ever.

NANA have some of the best layered characters in anime. Everyone is 3 dimensional & receives development. All of their actions have weigh behind them & gives off a sense of realism. It shows the consequences of everyday decisions & how intertwined we become with others. no Clannad time reset bs, just REAL life.

It's hard not to dislike a show when you don't like it's characters, and it's relying only on them. Also the overall "non-boyness" of the entire show put me a bit off. I like Kyoto Animation though, usually put out some great work, and some awesome-looking anime =)

I liked Usagi Drop. And then I looked into the manga for it. I really wished I hadn't, as it ruined it for me. If you like Usagi Drop, just ignore the manga and enjoy the anime. Somethings are better left as is.

Uchuu Kyoudai and SIlver Spoon are two wonderfully uplifting shows. Silver Spoon is especially when you get to it's 2nd season
