Something like that happened with my twin and I. When we were both in grade school, I was in the basement in art class when I felt severe pain in my back. I fell to the floor screaming. The teacher didn't know what to do. She helped me to the nurse's office. My twin sister was in there because she had just fallen down the stairs on the opposite side of the school. Both our backs hurt in the same place and I had red marks on my skin where she had fallen. My mother also said we spoke together in a "twin" language as babies.

They told the journalist they'd decided that one of them had to die so the other could have a normal life. On the day Jennifer was moved to a separate facility, she collapsed and later died. There have been enough stories of siblings who were split up finding each other and falling in love later in life. People who weren't raised around immediate blood relatives frequently have unexplained but strong attractions to each other. Siblings or even parent and child. Yea, it's creepy, but you can't fault the pair if they had no knowledge of it. It's got to be really hard finding out the person you're head over heels in love with is really your family member. If you split up obviously you'll still want to stay in contact with each other as a family, but that attraction is always going to be there. I wouldn't blame them if they chose to stay together and keep the secret. Besides, 100 years ago it was still common to marry your cousin in the U.S., many middle eastern cultures still do, and during the time of monarchs and royalty people constantly married siblings, cousins, double cousins, aunts and uncles in order to keep wealth and power in the family. Even though I'm a twin myself (my identical twin died of breast cancer five years ago), I find many of these stories disturbing. Yes, it's true twins share a unique bond. My sister and I spoke a language only we understood, but my mother told us that we stopped that as soon as we started school and started to make other friends. I'd actually heard most of these stories before. All in all, I found being a twin a wonderful experience.

Shameema Bhyat No. it is biologically impossible for a set of male/female twins to be identical. There are some fundamental major differences. I have fraternal twin boys and I promise you, I have learned a lot about twins over the last 25 years. What I am saying is correct.

+GiGi the term identical comes from the concept of babies developing from a monozygote. here's a snippet from a publication: For example, take the situation of an egg fertilized by a Y-bearing sperm. It has been found (Opitz, 1993) that monozygotic twinning is associated with higher than normal amounts of aneuploidy; so it is possible that if twinning were to occur through the failure of the first two blastomeres to adhere to one another, aneuploidy might also occur. In that case, the twins would have different chromosome complements. If the aneuploidy were for the X chromosome, one twin might by male (XY or XYY) while the other would be female (XO). Such male/female "identical twins" have been found (Edwards et al., 1966; Machin, 1996). These twins would be assumed dizygotic, when they actually had originated monozygotically.

i'm a twin and this is totally true, things that prove twin telepathy is real have happen multiple times to me and my sister. When we were babies my sister was having a surgery while i was at home sleeping, my nanny called my mum right at the time my sister was in surgery, nanny said that i woke up screaming and feeling pain right where my sister was having her surgery done.

Only identical twins have the same DNA. Fraternal twins don't. Boy and girl twins are ALWAYS fraternal. So when you showed boy/girl twins while stating that twins have the same DNA, you were incorrect.
