Hi Ben, great video. Your mic that you have is really incredible as your voice comes through really clear. With your deep British accent it helps to understand all the words. What a great problem to have, when it is hard to spend all the allotted money. I live in the United States and the prices there are really amazingly reasonable. Especially that Bubble Waffle cone, looked really good. That would be $4.00 or $4.50 in the United States. I'm not a big fan of Spicy food, so you were brave to eat all of that Noodle dish. The Glass box of Rabbits do you know if they sell them or is it just a Petting Zoo type thing? Enjoy your videos so keep up the good work.

Not often the Birmingham accent gets a compliment 😂. I really want a trip to the US soon and that’s what I love about Thailand it’s so cheap to live 🇹🇭 and no they weren’t getting sold, you could pay to feed them and pet them 👍

Actually, hate to be a spoilsport, thats not a local market. Thats a tourist market. And its actually quite expensive for Thai standards. As you can see in the video, I see hardly any Thai people buying anything. Most of these tourist towns have multiple markets and I would strongly suggest trying to find the local one, they most certainly have one. And there you will find much better food and prices, and no worries, its really not all weird stuff or super hot. You can get a complete meal there with protein, vegetables and rice for less than a quid. They usually come prepacked in these plastic containers. You also see them all over Bangkok around busy intersections near a transport hub for all the businesspeople who can quickly grab a lunch. When you walk around in the early morning you can see all sorts of kitchens prepare them for the day, cool sight to be honest. If thats too adventurous, I recommend food courts in malls or these huge supermarkets. Thai people love those too, and in some, even though they look very modern and have great airco, there is not a tourist in sight. These arent anything like the foodcourts in the West that basically just offer generic fastfood. Its a collection of different stalls that specialize in a certain style or product from different regions of Thailand. They usually also have really good Chinese food Hong Kong style. Thai seem to love that too because there is of course a very big Chinese influence in the country. Personally I think its great to eat with a bit of airco, its already warm enough most of the time. The telltale sign is: When you see lots of Thai people eating somewhere, thats where you need to be, as in any country really.

Yeah I would say markets like this are to attract tourists. However, that’s not to say there’s no locals and that the locals don’t enjoy these markets as well. I have been to a few proper local markets and it is an experience 😂
