Sophia Rao natural nails don’t break to the point of being sharp, and acrylics don’t easily break unless they are very long or poorly done! naturally or not, the dancer’s nails are not allowed to grow (mostly) past the fingertip, which is strict in my opinion. but go off i guess?

@Sara Mazeroski What's unhealthy? Maybe she was referring that she could have been a little overweight for her age which I know some kids/teens go through. And in order for anyone to stay fit (including those who are thin) need adequate exercise and she took up dance to help herself feel better (at least that's what I'm getting at). Yes, you will be sore if you're new to exercising, but it usually helps a lot of people feel better and it gives them more energy to want to get more exercise especially if/when they're eating right. Yes, being too thin is not healthy at all, but it's not healthy to be overweight and/or obese for people's heights/ages as well. The only person that can tell anyone if they're actually in the average weight-range for their height and age is their doctor. But you also have to factor in muscle because muscle weighs more than fat. Example: Let's say a 5'7" male weighs about 150 lbs. at 17 years old, but there's no visible fat on him whatsoever where that weight comes from all of his muscle. And the same goes for females too where muscle weighs more than fat.

Also, everyone's learning styles are different, too....where I'm not saying that anyone on the show may have had a learning disability where I don't know that since I don't them...where I know for some people once they're confronted, they start crying and for some that's an automatic thing and that's not always easy to control and the reason I know this is 'cause I do it myself. I do try my best to control, but it's not easy and sometimes I do that when I get nervous, too. I admit that even though I haven't seen a full episode of this show, but I have seen clips with Abby screaming in them...where to be honest, who wouldn't cry with the way Abby screams? Honestly, she shouldn't get mad for a *child* crying because they're getting *screamed* at by an adult. There are some kids and teens who are more emotional than others which needs to be understood and I feel like a ton of teens go through different emotions esp. during the puberty stages in my opinion. Example: Let's say one day they're super angry and want absolutely nothing to do w/anyone and if someone tries talking to them, that person screams at the other person whether it be a friend or family member w/o even knowing why they're even in that mood to begin with. And then let's say the next day, they're super sad and full of tears for no reason (that could have to do w/puberty). But *crying* when an *adult* is screaming at you is a very *natural* response for any child and/or teen to have.

The harm in wearing any type of earrings anytime you are performing is if one of them falls out and you step on it it will go into your foot and if you are with multiple people your earrings could get stuck on a uniform/costume or stab someone if you get too close

Litterally, Abby made one of her students break her OWN rule. Back then a few seasons later probably in season 2 or 3, Chloe did a solo called "Angry Bird" She was wearing earings and during her solo one of them flew off when she had a strict "No Jewelery rule" Also, I've seen the girls wearing earings time to time as part of their costumes during the competition. I guess Abby didn't really care too much about that rule.
