I had the perfect opportunity to go grey 10 years ago. I had chemotherapy and lost all my hair. I made the decision to no longer use hair colour. Today I have still more pepper than salt . Very liberating, no longer worried about my grey roots showing.

I’m thinking about it, too. I only started getting a little gray 2 or 3 years ago, but my professional colorings wash out and leave me with reddish gold hair. My natural color is a kind of streaky bronde. Plus, my hair is nearly impossible to comb out now that it’s processed.🙂

Wonderful , easily doable ideas ! Sometimes the most obvious are the ones we don't see for ourselves . Personally , as I've aged , I prefer slightly lighter makeup & am surprised by how a simple swipe of lighter lipstick or tinted lip balm brightens my face ; same w/ my hair color that's now shade lighter ( w/ very subtle highlights plus a few gray hairs showing up to keep it real ! 😊 ) than the dark brown / black of my youth . Also wearing lighter color tops & simple gold or silver earrings for the same reason . Add a smile & embrace your age - you earned it ! 🥰

I had a sales rep at Dillards to help me fit a bra. I am 59 yo and I apparently have been wearing the wrong size! She was so helpful and I finally love the way my bra fit, it seems for the first time. Wacoals is now my brand.

To me, a fellow petite, age 63, tucking in my tops made a huge difference, no more frump! (I also buy “cropped” style tops and sweaters, which just cover my waistband. Try tucking by not looking down at your tummy, that makes them seem big, but taking a full-length photo and looking at that instead. I’m nit skinny and have a mature, rounded tummy, too, but the difference in proportions this gives overrides other considerations. When I first tried it, it was such a huge Improvement that I got rid of all my long or tunic tops. I felt frumpy in those for years, but didn’t realize what the real problem was; they make legs look stumpy and turn the torso into a big, square block. Don’t cover up your feminine shape, style it well, instead! There’s plenty of good advice here, on other YT channels, free Nordstrom styling by appointment and even by paid independent professionals. I like Melissa Murrel’s styling series on YT for different body shapes, she uses real women to demonstrate her styling tips. Thanks for another great video❤

You have some good tips. However, I've tried on many styles of cheaters & prescription frames. The first style you showed looks way better on my face shape and coloring than the second style you showed. When it comes to frames, I really think it's important to find the shape that suits your face, and everyone is different in that regard. Cheers!

I have the cutest nude pair of clarks with the white sole , think it was called the jillian . I wear VS bombshell add 2 cup sizes.....I don't like being smaller in the chest as I only have gotten that way in the last two decades and hope they never stop making them. Will check out the Wacoal. :)

I love Lily Silk’s “one-size” stretch silk and Spandex bras. I’m a 36D and if any larger, these wouldn’t work, they run very small and don’t really fit everyone. They give only slight support, but are great for most casual wear, when I don’t need maximum support, just nipple flattening! They are super-comfy but the wide straps can show and they can emphasize back and side fat, I just pull them up a little in those areas, it helps.

Hi Michelle, we have a lot in common, except I am 5’4ish. I have purchased three of your clothing recommendations so far, including the pink sweater you are wearing in this video. I lost 40 pounds over the last 14 months, dropping from size12/14 to 4/6. I never thought I would tuck a shirt or wear a belt ever again, but I am doing just that! I also have two young adult sons, but not quite empty nest yet. The youngest is starting his senior year of college, so staring empty nest in the face soon. Wondering if you will be doing a video on your weight loss method? PS: I would SO love to wear a dress without pantyhose, but my legs look like a roadmap of veins😢. Thanks for pantyhose recommendations. I used to buy Talbot’s brand but they have stopped carrying them, at least in Texas.

I’m sorry to hear that you had Covid. In a nutshell, I lost my weight by kicking my sugar addiction, eliminating all processed foods, increasing protein and healthy fats, and decreasing carbs. In addition, I am now on a sensible and consistent resistance training and walking schedule. I also have been doing Intermittent Fasting for the last year (16:8). I haven’t felt this good in many years. I should add that my new lifestyle has been very easy to maintain. I highly recommend it…it’s never too late! I just turned 59 in June😊

These are great tips, some I follow already. My biggest problem is finding clothes to fit because I am waaaay under 5'. I'm petite boned too but a bit overweight. I love wearing heels, but they can’t be higher than about 2.5 inches and must be block-style, not stilettos. It’s also difficult for me to get a comfortable fit, my toes are C width, most shoes say B, but they’re really A. I’ve had good, stylish and comfy finds at these brands: Talbots, Sezane, Patricia Green and some Sam Edelman. I don’t like Naturalizer because they use a lot of plastic inside their shoes, it makes feet feel tight, hot and sweaty. I always buy genuine leather because they soften and stretch to conform to my feet, unlike plastic (vegan leather). Calla also makes great shoes, and probably the most comfortable, they’re suitable for my wider toes and those with bunions. I had a bunion when I had to wear pumps for the office, but it went away on its own after 5 or 6 years of not wearing corporate shoes, after I retired.
