I don't think they needed to do that. How about a suicide squad movie where, instead of all of the pointless Enchantress BS, the squad is sent after Joker? You still get the pretty amazing performances by Will Smith and Jai Courtney and it gives a reason for the drama between Harley and Joker that actually ads to the plot instead of detracting from it.

It was actually Leto who was treating the other cast members bad, he forced to them to call him Mr. J even when they weren’t recording, he also send various of cast members used condoms, and dead rats etc. So yeah he wasn’t the one being treated bad

One thing I heard someone say was "I hate his laugh. He sounds like a little boy trying to do the Joker laugh." I massively disagree. Obviously his laugh isn't normal, but I've always thought that makes it so much creepier. We know this Joker wasn't born a Joker, but to me it sounds like someone who's forgotten how to be happy. Because to me, the Joker finds things funny, but he isn't ever really happy, and I think that shows with Leto. both of these movies had amazing potential, but were fucked over for 2 very different reasons. BvS was fucked cos the studio just let Zach Snyder run wild filming way too much, and they couldn't trim it down to a film that made a lot of sense. and this was fucked because the cutting room floor destroyed it for they wanted to make it funny and not dark at all (as far away from BvS as possible). but in my opinion it should have been dark. as will smith said "were bad guys". they're not supposed to be nice. and 1 more thing. this movie was really falsely advertised. cos all the trailers portrayed the joker as the main antagonist. so i was going in there expecting this movie to be like a live action assault on arkham. with the joker as the main antagonist.

All I can say mate is that you missinterpret what I mean. I am no Marvel fan, read like 2 comics in my life and I like a lot of DC characters, just like I like Marvels'. I am just a bystander, not tied to any favorite comic storylines, and I judge by plain movie criteria. And this movie was terrible. If something is to come out of it - it has to be remade from scratch. Mainly the script. It was simplu a bad movie and ypu can't really argue that, unless you are "fanboying" yourself. Though it could be said that Heath Ledger's and Jared Leto's styles of performance are an order of magnitude apart, they really aren't so different. While both exhibited different magnitudes of Joker's downright insanity, both performances were really structured on that point of his character. However, Heath Ledger's Joker was less batshit crazy maniac and more cold, calculated criminal, and Leto's showed more of the outright flamboyant crazy.

DriceYT that was my reaction upon hearing that. I always had an issue with how the film romanticized the Joker and Harley's relationship, as it never had been in any comic or animated rendition, and had always been one-sided and abusive. The scene mentioned, according to my source above was meant to display this but was cut from both the theatrical and the extended cuts of the film. I feel that this scene would have shown the pairing for what they always were. Plus Margot Robbie's description of Harley's relationship was "addictive in a toxic way" (not a direct quote, just my best paraphrasing), hinting that the scene was meant to be in the film and they were originally portrayed in an abusive light.

there is no proof that happened anywhere. not in the novel. not from the movie. nowhere. the missile hits the helicopter. Harley falls out. the end. the only proof of any kind of altercation is a paragraph from the novelization. he's annoyed with her cuz he had to save her...didn't make sense to me either. then she pouts. he says they'll discuss it later. then the helicopter gets hit and Harley falls out. so I'm guessing they changed their dialogue in the scene, but I doubt there was ever a push
