Blimey Sid that Maple has come on in leaps and bounds, I love the leaf colour, the sound in this one Sid is a bit noisy my friend I thought it was my hearing aids but no, is it the Mike or something else, cooper and mate are having fun under your bench. All the best my friend.

This tree is going to be great one day, or it isn't. Time will tell. I was hoping Cooper was digging for gold, but alas, no.

I know your disappointment I had a maple purchased by my wife for a present. It arrived in a very poor state it supposedly had a five year warranty the supply told us to wait and see how it developed it they have now said it was not treated right. I have over forty Japanese maples and they are flourishing. Be careful of who you buy from.

No, you misunderstood. I'm not disappointed. This is just a (mis)step on the way to becoming a bonsai. Not always a straight line.
