My fav potential trade to me is Trae to Boston for Brown. Boston clearly needs someone that can dribble and initiate the offense. Trae can do that and work with Timelord for pick and rolls and tons of lobs, take some pressure off of tatum to playmaker and let him just be a scorer. meanwhile Brown on the Hawks let him play 2 guard move Murray to 1 and all of a sudden you have a solid scoring, play making and elite defensive back court to go with Deandre Hunter and Capella which is a vey strong front court. See if you can flip Collins for Dorian Finney smith and Royce Oneal and now you got an Elite Defensive team with Murray, Brown, Hunter, DFS, Capella along with Bogey and Royce and that oneyka kid off the bench. All the makings of a legit team.

For Boston as example Trae can get hunted in the pick and roll a bit and when he gets double teamed or blitzed he struggles...well no worries no one is every double teaming him with Tatum there and smart along with timelord and the rest of that team help make up for his poor defense. For The Hawks you get rid of Traes poor D and bring in Brown who has shown he can not dribble in the crunch but no worries as Murray is a great primary playmaker and will help get Brown easier shots on offense while not forcing him to dribble or really do anything but shoot or iso.

Any team that thinks KAT is the answer to the playoff riddle needs to remember what Jimmy Butler said about him because he is a stat guy who just doesn't have the drive to be as good as he could be, he has all the talent in the world but has no dog in him. That said him in Charlotte for the 2nd pick and Scary Terry would be a good move and the Wolves take Scoot Henderson at #2 and you have a very young but very talented team. The Hornets get a great scoring big that will benefit from LaMelo lobs on the run but z legitimate big to run the half court game through when they can't run. Neither team needs to be greedy and try to demand extra picks because neither team is giving up a proven star that moves the needle in the playoffs so do what's best for them both and get it done.

Jayson Tatum and JB as a duo peaked in the finals and lost to the dubs. Jaylen is eligible for a near $300 million dollar contract extension with JT’s contract coming up that’s already going to be another $300 mil. The celtics will have very little depth due to having a team salary being more than half a billion dollars with just those 2 players combined. Trading Jaylen makes more than perfect sense.

You did NOT just say that trae is prone to getting shut out in the playoffs. That happened ONE time against the heat, that he played well against in the play in this year. He was electric in 2021, and he was very impressive this year against Boston (almost 4 straight 30-10 games, with a game winner in the middle). In ALL seriousness… Trae will NOT be traded. The hawks WANT to keep him and Dejounte, because they both stepped up their performance and numbers in the playoffs among other things, along with their new coach that both of them love. Plus, it’s clear from interviews that trae DOES NOT want to be traded, and he knows that he won’t be, and he’s excited to play for Quin this year.
