My advice that I’ve learned since my divorce 12/20/2017, work towards excellence and drop the words “perfect and perfection “ from your vocabulary and accept yourself as you are. You live within yourself daily, only, no one else is in there with you, it’s your life. Don’t apologize for your success or make excuses for your failures.

We should focus on becoming better than WE were yesterday, not better than others are. Self improvement should be measured against our own past success, not that of others. Personal bests.

Many people prefer to envy others instead of working smart and hard to achieve their own goals.

This video is definitely manufactured for people who are very young. By young, i mean 18-25 years old. ( I’m gen x by 3 years) It’s information i wish i had in a video format, so easily accessible, during my days of “growing up.” Good stuff. Something I learned, which is very simple, yet over the years, I have found very useful and self satisfying, is I learn at least one NEW “thing” everyday. I always take time to find something I know nothing about, and educate myself on the subject. No matter how small. Just something new. You’re guaranteed to improve your knowledge 365 days a year. Some days I learn/educate myself on more than one topic. But ALWAYS at least ONE. It becomes habit and I’ve been doing it for 22 years now. My knowledge has increased vastly. I certainly know I’m not the only one who practices this idea. Just thought I would share. Maybe someone will read this and give it a try. It can be challenging and it’s fun. So long…🍻👋

I am almost officially "elderly" and I found this advice actually applies to my life at this time. Being retired from the rat race of earning a living and raising children, I found that I simply want to grow as a person, a better person, a peaceful person, even a wise person as I age. I don't believe this advice is for just younger people, we all have room to improve mentally and emotionally no matter our ages.

Last week: Never compare yourself with others. This week: You know what's a great idea? Compare yourself with others to see who's better. 😂 KZbin channels are running out of materials. 😊

I will be authentic here. I don't think there's a need to use the word s h-- t. In my opinion it lowers the standards of your channel and I will be wary to watch the next one.
