I really love how you go about explaining these habits that you’ve incorporated into your life. a lot of people that I’ve seen on YT tend to shame you if you’re not living the same lifestyle that they are but what they don’t know is that you have to have a lot of privilege to live sustainably and that’s really not something that’s financially manageable for everyone. I like how you don’t shame anybody in your videos; you’re more just sharing what works best for you! Thanks for your content ✨💕

I remember you mentioning you didn’t use paper towels a while back and I’ve been much more aware of my paper towel use since then! Great tips, I’ll have to try the others 😊

This has helped us reduce our paper towel use so much. We keep paper towels for our guest now in the bathroom, but have been able to use washcloths for kitchen clean up. Thanks for the tip!

Loved these tip Jules and the friendly reminder that it's all about those small steps! I'm so with you on the composting - feel grateful that in Vancouver we have a curbside pickup for compost.

This was so helpful and full of great tips! It really gets me thinking as we have to refresh supplies. When the camera panned over your sink, is that round brush what you use to wash dishes? Is it some kind of natural bristle brush?

Great post, thanks! Would you be able to link to the bags you use and maybe also the cotton pads?
@julesacree4 жыл бұрын
the garbage bags I got from www.grove.co/ and the cotton pads were a gift from biossance... but you can find cotton rounds on etsy!

Jules-- loved this! Can you give more advice on sustainable food storage? We're struggling over here with the beeswax and the *particular brand* of reusable baggies we bought (their zip type lock suxx). :P

I use glasslock containers, stasher bags, reused jars - check out my shop page under "sustainable living" and you can find links to the products i have: omandthecityblog.com/shop

Great tips and editing...are you shooting and editing your own video? I’m running my own construction based channel and have been thinking about shifting some of my content towards home health topics, I found this video very helpful!
