@@lokixthor4eva587 when you suffer from depression, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, etc. horror/ghost stories can have a minor to major effects on the psyche. Depending on their environment, stress or the severity of their condition it can be worse for some than others. Speaking from personal experience, I used to watch tons of horror and my mental health started to fall. Add on the stress and other factors it got really bad, when I stopped watching/reading horror related media it slowly improved. Now I’m at a strong enough mental state to enjoy them but only every now and then.
