I know this list is one entry per franchise but Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 (the original) haunts me when he sprints and attacks you (as Jill Valentine).

I have never played Amnesia games, but it's pretty obvious the design of the 'Gatherers' was inspired by Silent Hill monsters.

Monster Ock from Spiderman 2000 (more of a pursuit than a hunt but still terrified players). Charlie Matheson Jr. from Slender The Arrival. His appearance and the noise he makes are both creepy. Killer Croc from Batman Arkham Asylum.

I HATED EMMI SO MUCH! There random placement everytime I've entered the EMMI Zones is why it's easily the worst part of subsequent playthroughs. One of the reasons why Metroid Dread was the hardest 2D Metroid game ever.

Then why couldn’t SA-X and the E.M.M.I. have both shared a spot on this list? I mean, they’re both terrifying, especially when in Metroid Fusion after escaping the Restricted Sector, Adam tells you that there are ten SA-Xs on the BSL. I know that actually doesn’t happen as there is only 1 SA-X you encounter as the penultimate boss, but it was still scary for players to think that there were 10 SA-Xs going to hunt you down. The E.M.M.I.s are terrifying, but the first E.M.M.I. is easy to get away from and PB is taken out by Samus’ Metroid powers in a cutscene.

Tips going forward for making videos about anything horror themed or scary: Use the appropriate background music to match the tone. Stop using happy go lucky music with these specific videos, its kinda jarring
