Honestly the reason the dude has actually made as much impact as he has is because he’s such a sudden change from the rest of the game, it’s usually bright and somewhat cheery, but monster is dark and wants to literally massacre both you and your girlfriend before consuming you, it’s an unpleasant change and is kinda weird, so thus, people sometime get a bit creeped out, it makes sense, wouldn’t you?
