The Delay you were talking about may be due to some "accessibility Shortcut" for home button. ( That triple click ) When turned on, the software waits for a third click resulting in response delay. So check that and then turn it off. That should work well. Peace.

I decided to go iOS when there was only, and still is, 3 phones with 4.3 inch display with good specs. For Android it was Xiaomi Mi2s and Sony Z1 compact and ... iPhone 5s. When small beast of SE arrived I decided to use it after my Xiaomi one (callers had really big difficulty to hear me - tried everything software, hardware based ). 4:43 you may have turned on the triple click accessibility shortcut so that the iPhone on the right with iOS 10.0.2 is slower. i have experienced the same lag as well however after switching off the triple click the problem is gone with iOS 10.0.2.

After the new update ios 10.0.1 and 10.0.2, my iphone always freeze on homescreen. The touch screen is not functioning but the home button can. After a few reboots still the same. After you let your phone 'rest' for a while, it recovers. But same thing will happen once in a while. May i know the reason of this ?
