Mario was actually born in Italy and spent some of his childhood there before moving to America. Also there were a few Americans who drove in the mid to late 1900s but were not at all successful. Mario and Micheal andretti are by far the most accomplished drivers america has had so far.

People in comments would lead you to believe he’s been hated and betted against, but those who’ve been following his career closely (and not just becoming a fan now) know he’s always been respected as a genuine driving talent. Nothing more, nothing less. And he still has to prove that he belongs on that incredibly competitive F1 grid.

I actually raced with his older brother Dalton back when he just started karting down in Florida. You could tell he was a natural talent behind the wheel. Once I heard Logan was competing in the world karting scene I knew he was going to become something special.

I’ve been following him since his 2020 season with Prema and since then I knew he had what it took to make it. All he needed was the chance and we have to thank Williams for giving him that.
