@@philipps1158 well..the screens emit small ounces of radiation which if person holds face too near to screen can cause red eyes..also there could be other causes such as lack of sleep or just being tired ig Edit:also if there is a point light (in this case screen) in a dark area the light distortion can cause eyes to get tiresome and would often start to turn red..it's same effect as looking at the sun just lower effect

My mom probably does think that I'm addicted to games but she's never voiced it out loud. She knows that I can point out her addiction to Angry Birds. Then again, my mom has never visibly shown any qualms about me gaming just as long as I don't let it interfere with school. My Dad, on the other hand, gets annoyed by my gaming and complained about how violent Fallout 3 is because he heard a gun go off and saw me killing someone else (in self-defense, I might add). He also blurted out the usual bs about how violent video games creates violent people. I think he meant it sort of as a joke but it wasn't funny in that case. 😡 Unfortunately, he isn't addicted to any app so I can't use anything against him.

My mom is really cool, when we go into a game-stop she dues not go and ask me "What do you have?" She goes and looks at the games and grabs a game I mite like for the right console. Ya I have 4, but there not all the same. She knows what consoles I have and what i mite like. The last 8 games she picked were games I really liked and I do still play them from time to time. most of the games I have is because she picked them out. So whenever I have trouble trying to find a game to get, I don't go and ask the people who are working there, I ask my mom to pick out a game for me and 8/10 times I don't return the game cus the game is one I like. Ya my dad ask's "Do you have an X-box?" When I really don't and I have a X-box 360 instead, or the generic one "Do you have a Nintendo" and no i don't. So not all parents are unknowing of what a video-game is, just some are.

When I started playing bf4, my dad thought I was playing a movie. Also, he asked "why are you furiously typing on you keyboard?" I looked at him, so awkwardly, and said "It's a game" After 30 minutes later explaining that it wasn't a movie, and showing him that I was controlling it (by showing with mouse and keyboard) he finally understood. When I first used a computer it was when my dad taught me how to play windows solitaire on his old windows xp office pc.. To this day there is a mutual understanding between us that if I'm playing a game and I can finish in next 10 minutes he'll wait it out but if it's anything above 10-15 minutes I have to leave no matter the consequences in-game..I also have a understanding when we have to go back home from his office but he is in a middle of his windows 10 solitaire so the same rule applies for him aswell

The real enemy to batteries is not trickle charging, but actually charging in small bursts, because as far as the battery is concerned charging from 20% up to 40% and disconnecting the charger is still one cycle. This is a smaller problem with more advanced Li-ion batteries that use a conductive polymer as cathode, but still an issue. I'm gonna pretend i'm on 9gag now and fly away.
