this video was inspiring. i'm about to finish my year off from university and i will definitely make a list like what you did. :) want to ask...do you have any tips, like what i should do before going back to school? make a gratitude list? do something grand? join something i never planned on joining before? hope to hear from you, thank you!!! :)

hi, Ysabella! hmm... I think it would be a great idea to make a gratitude list to reflect on the things you do, and also make a future goals list to help keep you motivated for the next year:) If you can, you should definitely travel/take one more trip before you go back- it gets so much harder to do those things once you're in uni! Here's a couple tips I have before going back: assess your friendships & make sure to stay intentional about them!; and also remember that it's a privilege for us to be able to further educate ourselves! (this helps me keep a positive attitude about school lol)

I am studying Political Science!! I love it!! I just am a little conflict on what to do during my gap year. haha

hey girl heeey! Crazy to think this was a few years ago now; time flies fast!! Have you figured it out at all? What options are you exploring? Honestly, I think that the best things you can do when figuring things out is to explore your options, seek wise counsel, and go with YOUR gut!

@@AbigailSmith Fruitable Well, I'm probably going to take a gap year bc it is the best option for me (financially). It will also give me time to properly think over the different academic routes I could go . Btw, thank you for the tips:)

Love that you were able to solo travel to San Francisco during your gap year! Definitely inspires me to do more solo trips during my gap year. Was your trip to Europe/North Africa a solo trip as well? You covered plenty of countries, if you have any suggestions please let me know :)

Hi, Jordan! You're going to be taking a gap year? That's amazing! What all do you have planned? My trip to Europe/NA wasn't completely alone; I left the states by myself and met with a group of people! I did go to London by myself though. :) I would definitely suggest going to Germany, London, or somewhere in Asia! I just spent the past month in Hong Kong and loved it, but I think it really depends on what type of culture you want to learn more about, and the resources that are available for you. I think going to NA would be amaazing, but maybe not alone.

Abigail Smith I’m currently in my gap year! For me it’s between undergrad and grad school and I definitely plan on getting more travels done and experience new places before going back! And when you met w a group of people do you mean relatives or did you use any particular programs or websites to do so? I’ve always wanted to do one of those programs to meet other people eager to travel and learn but also having the freedom o set your own schedule and roam around would be great too. Lmk if you have any suggestions or advice :) Also wow Hong Kong!!? What was your favorite part about your trip there?
