the funniest thing about midoriya being a crybaby, is that (at least from what i remember) he cries from understandable things! being attacked by a villain, being told that he can't be a hero from his idol (didn't even cry, just was on the verge off), THAN BEING TOLD HE ACTUALLY CAN BE A HERO. Yes! I agree with all your points completely. When I first joined the MHA fandom, I didn’t really understand what it was and genuinely thought that, for example, “TdBkDk” was an actual cannon ship 😅. And , for I had never watched the anime, really thought that some characters like Uraraka were as mean as they were portrayed, or like Kaminari and Midoriya that are both usually portrayed as extremely dumb and weak crybabies or things like that actually like that. But not really, cuz yea Kaminari can be pretty stupid and Midoriya being a crybaby is nothing new, but they are both really strong characters that can and do make smart decisions. And that’s not even the most part of things that I actually thought were like in the anime! Sure, do whatever you want, you’re a creator that’s just retelling a story, and storytellers tend and are allowed to bend some parts of said story, but for newcomers to the community, these informations could be very misleading… So I started thinking that this anime was kinda weird (especially because of the omegaverse thing?) and realising how toxic most parts of this fandom can be, I decided to quit both the MHA and Gacha fandom! Earlier this month, I found out that MHA had a new season coming out and figured “hey I might as well watch it, if I end up not liking it it’s ok I’ll just stop watching” so I started, and even though the start can be a little cringey sometimes, I found out that this is actually a great and awesome series with a lot of fun plots and twists and heartbreaking parts full of hardships and stuff. To my surprise I really liked it, so I decided to check back into the gacha thing to try to understand again why I left the fandom. And my eyes opened lol It’s a great story with a lot of nice characters and I get kinda sad how people see it. Just wanted to leave my opinion haha.. Oh and I don’t know if I explained well, English is not my first language. Loved your video btw!

I personally hate the amount of hate and bashing All Might gets for that one comment he made on that rooftop having known nothing about the kid he did it to. And all the people putting AFO on a pedestal of fatherhood and creating Mean Might fanon scenarios to further bash and mischaracterize him. Also the Deku cuck crap, the fast food Deku, the Ochaco bashing all make me hate the fandom. I also hate when specifically the BKDK and Kacchaco fans (who are the worst at this) try to force their ship down everyone’s throats and claim things to be canon that are very much not canon. They literally put words in Horikoshi’s mouth that he never said. I hate how TodoDeku and IzuOchs fans can’t even exist without some BKDK, Kacchaco or other shipping community attacking us and making our feeds and DMs a toxic playground of bashing and threats.

I came to the show because of the Tik Tok trends and my friends liked it. As I watched it I saw the community devolve into feral animals. And yes I know it’s not all Mha fans but the crazy ones are always the loudest and give the show a bad rep. But I personally loved the story and got a favorite character like most do. Only after a few seasons in I shipped him with another character as like cute dating (both minors and same age nothing illegal). And that’s ok to ship characters I mean I know it was never going to be cannon but it’s ok to ship in moderation with guidelines. TLDR: Fandom/show gets a bad reputation from bad fans and it’s ok to ship characters just don’t make it weird, illegal, or disturbing. Also shipping is your own just don’t expect it to be cannon

I love Bakugo, have ever since I started the show, and later he became my very first fictional crush. And while I really want to give into the urges of having my own MHA of be with him as a pet of self indulgent thing, it feels kind of ooc to me. I know that with my personality heavily influencing the personality of my character he’d never be interested in me that way. Even if my character was more “compatible” with him, I don’t think he’d ever grow to be as close with her as he has with his closest canonical friends. Which are the only people I ever really ship him with. (Most of the time it’s just Deku, they’re the closest and I like their dynamic the most) Plus I don’t know how to really feel since I just turned 18. I’ve had a crush on him since I was 15 but the older I get that’s going to feel weird. Which brings me to the point that Bakugo gets the strangest treatment from the fandom, he’s either always a toxic love interest or falls in love way too quickly for too many female Ocs and y/ns (you cannot convince me that man is straight, he’s always just a lil bit fruity) middle aged women ship themselves with him or he’s made to be ooc in being WAY more violent and aggressive than he is in canon or being made to be the villain in some Midoriya centric fanfics and videos. Some people hate him wayy too much and don’t acknowledge his character development. It’s fine to not like him but it’s insane to hate a character that much that it’s like the only thing you talk about because it makes you “special” from the rest of the fandom. He isn’t overrated, his writing is good and people like characters like him. Of course he’s attractive too so that helps. Lastly, I don’t like anyone who hates Midoriya. Especially a Bakugo fan who dislikes Midoriya. Deku is intrinsically tied to Bakugo and their development works off of each other. Literally they are the two most important people in each other’s lives and anyone hating on Midoriya just rubs me wrong.

But you can't just ignore his whole character development which a lot of haters just LOVE to use the "Bakugo is a bad person because he bullied Midoriya in Middle School!" kind of excuse. Like we get it, bullying is horrible but Bakugo isn't like that anymore and people just can't seem to acknowledge that. Same with Midoriya Haters as well, they always hate the poor boy for being a "Crybaby". I mean sure, he cried a lot but that doesn't mean he is weak or a coward and yet people just like to make a whole conclusion like they know the characters so well while they don't even bother to pay attention to the whole picture, which is very annoying in my opinion Anyway, thank you for sharing your opinion. 6:56 I understand why the Omegaverse can be quite a weird and out of place concept, but I have found at least decent ones that have made like an effort to alternate the universe to make sense. Idk if you’ve ever heard of ‘intersex’ before or if you’re familiar with doctor term of it but essentially what I know about it is that someone that was identified at birth as one gender could possibly be affected by the ‘intersex’ because it can go unnoticed until puberty resulting in the strange occurrence of where a man or a woman could have both reproductive organs. It’s confusing but it’s an actual thing that has happened to people. In the sense of it becoming a normalized thing in the Omegaverse concept could just be a way to bring awareness to ’intersex’ identities. Otherwise I agree with everything else you’ve pointed out. I really take time to watch videos through especially anime’s, I want to be able to truly understand the characters and the characters universe, so I have become trained to listen intently to every dialogue and subtle details of the anime’s that I watch.

Which is why I find it strange when people make it so common by making every Gay Ships have a biological children of their own. I'm not hate on it but it's just weird to have that when MOST of men can't get pregnant, that's all And I just feel like it will be more natural for the Same Sex Couples to simply adopt a child, it doesn't ALWAYS have to be biological child to create a small family

I'm here to try explain omegaverseee hiiI!! It is not quite my cup of tea either, I don't personally like it, feels weird. I've dipped my toes in it (not mha related) and I got scared and never touched it again😭 Any gacha content with omegaverse just repels me, no ty, it scares me, not hating on it- just all the ones I've come across have very disturbing thumbnails.. But I have learned quite a bit from friends of mine and also KZbinrs I watch, because of fanfiction! I know that it's not always about the animalistic features but rather the traits and hierarchy. Example, alpha being this higher ranked individual thats like a leader, and the omega being a lower individual thats like a follower, kind of? Thats how I understand it at least, and dont ask about beta, they just exist, i have no idea- Anyways, so omegaverse is made to be mostly about sexual things (it isn't always sexual but a lot of people making content of it make it that way), which is one of the reasons I don't usually read it, and also one of the reasons I don't like it in mha, especially since the main cast are mainly children! If its about the adults in the show, fine, people can write about it all they want, I won't judge em for it. The animalistic features people sometimes add aren't always because of omegaverse, it may just be because they like making non-human characters so they're all cats, dogs, bunnies and bears and whatever- And whenever there are omegaverse content the characters don't always have ears and tails, tho sometimes they do! I agree with you on all basically all these points, the last one about mischaracterisation is a hit or miss, if it's something that boils a character down to smth they're not then I hate it, like the example you had or Uraraka being just a love interest, which she isn't that- she has so much development and I hate her being labeled as just that

Yes, the big age gap can be fine but ONLY when both of them are ADULTS and have enough awareness around everything So despite Dabi is only around 23, I still think that it's not okay for Dabi to ship with Midoriya because Midoriya is STILL considered to be a minor and still going to school To me, both of the characters should be adults before going to a relationship with each other. Like one could be 30 and the other can be 20 because that's fine considered that BOTH of them are already old enough to aware of their own actions then I won't have so much complaints about Dabi x Deku if that was the case. But here, it's not so I still think it's cursed and people shouldn't ship them And most importantly to me, people really need to know the LIMIT 😭

That's why I said that the possibility is very low because of how rare it was. It's NOT common for men to be able to give birth so to me, it's a little unnatural to make every same sex couples have biological children I'm not against that tho, you do whatever you want but I feel like sometimes just let the couples adopted a child would be nice as well =v= (Unfortunately, we're surrounding with people who don't know what common sense is, huh?)

Honestly I agree with everything your saying and it all pisses me off too, but one more thing that pisses me off is Bakudeku ships there fucking childhood friends and Bakugo isn’t even interested in dating and one thing I pay to much attention to thing I get about every detail of the character and how they act I agree midoriya is not that much of a crybaby but if it’s middle school midoriya I can understand cause he didn’t have a backbone then as we saw in the first episode but he is still not that much of a crybaby he is a crybaby but not every single moment of every single day and I would like to explain more about why I hate bakugo x midoriya ships and I hate todoroki and Bakugo, todoroki x midoriya, I do hate those illegal ships, honestly I understand inko x allmight but just no just no, I absolutely despise any ship that makes the character gay or lesbain when either that character shows no interest in dating and also is in love with another person or in another relationship like couple, for me those ships are disrespectful for that reason your changing the characters and how they feel and sometimes act and it’s really just disrespectful to me, and another thing stop competing and arguing about which anime’s are stronger the characters are fake and so is the anime but you should respect the effort like I don’t like dragon ball z but I respect the effort they put into making the show and you should trash talk the character unless you truly know them and how they feel or unless you can prove it like the sakura hate in Naruto all the reason for hating her are stupid and childish believe me I have seen pretty much every reason there is but there might be some reasons I haven’t heard that might be good but most aren’t there childish and idiotic, okay and back to stop hating the characters if you don’t understand there pain you can’t say anything cause they have there reasons and even if it is stupid reasons or something you don’t agree with you shouldn’t trash talk it because your proving your no better then let’s say all for one your no better than him if you trash talk anyone or bully them even if you don’t think you are and just say it’s a joke is he or look for my type in personality not looks and I don’t feel that way about them actually but i do it with anime characters that haven’t shown there interests and I don’t even make it where my oc and that character date it can be one sided for all I care still I don’t actually feel that way it’s just my anime type I do I don’t make them date or anything no like I said it’s disrespectful so I don’t do that, and when I do this I try my best to keep the characters the same as they are in the anime not how I want them to act, I will admit there are bad mha fans but the true mha fans are ones who want what’s best for others even if it means sacrificing themselves but also willing to receive help that was midoriyas issue in his vigilante arc but those people also should want to save everyone even those they don’t like and should try to respect everyone but should also be smart enough to know if they can’t win so they can make a plan for that situation in an argument or fight and you should be able to ask for help like I said earlier, I’m not telling anyone how to act I’m just saying what I think and those people in my opinion are the ones who are gonna change the world but like me my only problem with that is I can’t put my words and thoughts into actions very well and I absolutely do not like saying positive things about myself that sound or could be made like I’m bragging when I never brag or I try to not make it sound that way cause to be far it’s a bit embarrassing for me to say stuff like that cause it makes it sound a bit selfish or full of myself when I am not or try not to sound like that but if I decide to not care about that I would say I think my thoughts are probably those of a good person but I also have bad thoughts that pollute my personality or how I feel cause I honestly am not good with emotions or feelings it’s hard for me to tell my emotions apart when I am confused or overwhelmed and I get that way if I’m around to many people or if to many people are talking to me it might be ptsd like midoriya has some as we saw in the sports festival and in the vigilante arc when the people wouldn’t let midoriya in UA, but one thing with society is they ignore all the problems in the world and laughing and someone looking homeless proves your not a very good person but also most people ignore the fact we are slowly destroying the world and slowly everything is going as the Bible said the world would pretty much destroy itself and he would come down to destroy the world and recreate it better than before and slowly it seems like that’s what’s actually happening but like midoriya we could also twist fate so that doesn’t happen but everyone would have to work together but everyone’s opinions and how they see things are too different to work together but sometimes that’s the greatest thing or fight for more things than one all I can think about is every bad thing that he happened or might happen again all of this is my opinion I’m
