I love my physical books for 2 reasons. 1. They don't require charging so it's not a drain on my electricity. 2. If you read the Terms, the company that you buy an eBook from can take the book away from you.

Great points! I definitely noticed that once I achieved financial freedom, I no longer had the desire to buy unnecessary things like designer clothes and getting a car loan for a luxury car to appear rich. Craziest thing was that you become more broke when doing things to show people you have money when you don't.

5:50 Quick tip on seasonal decorations, Once Christmas/Easter/whatever it is ends decorations go on a MASSIVE sale. I'm talking 60$ items for 3$. Because the stuff is no longer in use I suggest stocking up and using them for years to come!

1:55 To cut expenses on coffee, it’s best to buy instant coffee from grocery or dollar stores (they run about $4-$6, depending on the brand), and microwave a cup of water to scoop the coffee into. I keep separate tins for instant coffee and a powdered cream/sugar mix, refilling either roughly every six to eight weeks when they run low.

I just borrow books from the library. It's free. If there's a book I wanna read that the library doesn't have I get it in the cheapest way I can - so normally ebook after they've been out a while but some aren't available on Kindle (which many aren't in the UK it's super annoying) I just buy the physical ones ideally when on sale. Also lol imagine eating out can't relate. My family is a mess of allergies, coeliac, vegetarians and autistic people (aka picky eaters).

Car loans. I disagree. You tend not to get a great deal vs if get car loan. Because car dealer factor how much profit they make in interest. So what should you do. Get the car loan. Bargain it. Then completely pay it off first month. Make sure you don’t have prepayment penalty.

Mostly basic stuff here. If you really want to have your mind blown, then look at something like household chores, figure out how much time you spend on them vs what you would have to pay someone to do it. If you would spend less to get a professional than what your time investment is worth (the time it takes to do it yourself times your average hourly wage) than you're not actually saving money by doing it yourself. Even if you wouldn't be working during that time, it is still a commodity and should be viewed as such.
