it does have fun books! there’s not a ton of course but i checked out like 5+ books throughout the voyage and had a good time reading those :)

Hope you dont mind a question; I was reading an old thread (7 or 8 years old) about SAS and several comments said that the ship population was about 75% girls vs 25% boys. Is that still true when you went on the program more recently?

hahah oof, that’s still pretty true. mine was either 70% girls, 30% guys or MAYBE 65/35, but there are definitely more girls on the voyages!

also... it kinda makes me think that it’s easier for guys to get accepted into the program. i could be wrong though! that’s just a hypothesis because semester at sea probably wants to try to even out those numbers.
