We lived in Naples for 3.5 years and It's a beautiful city. The cost of RE was a bit much for us, so we moved a few hours North, but still in SWFL.

Naples is a shithole full of rude old northerners who clog the streets every season in their Drumpf-festooned teslas and porsche suvs. That's just a taste of the horror that is Naples. Visit if you must, but don't move here. You'll regret it.

I lived in Naples for 10 years and spent just as much time outside during the summer as I did during the winter.

Transportation Naples should invest in dedicated lanes for golf carts and electric bikes to alleviate road congestion and connect popular destinations and parks. Many people only travel short distances from home for work ,medical, and entertainment. Providing golf carts could also be a safer and less stressful alternative than driving for older retirees running errands, attending medical appointments, playing golf, pickle ball, etc. This alternative not only offers a solution to reduce traffic congestion but also promotes cleaner air and adds a unique and enjoyable aspect to Naples. 2. The individuals responsible for setting the traffic light timing and synchronization in Naples need to be replaced. It seems that in naples you go from red light to red light and there is no timing to keep traffic flowing. To many times you sit at a red light in naples where the next traffic light is only 50 feet away is green to only turn red immediately after you get a green. Horrible traffic and light management in this town. 3. There needs to be a public notice announcement in this town as well to not drive 3 cars right next to each other in a 3 lane that blocks everyone else behind them, when they are going below or even the speed limit. Leave a passing lane open, this is what makes aggressive drivers aggressive.

I love this idea. Might be hard to retroactively build the infrastructure for it however.

Don't worry. Naples will be 15 minute city soon. Construction is all geared towards it. Starting with the round abouts.

Some days the bus’s won’t run their route if they don’t have enough patrons…. Kinda stinks to find that out when your sweating profusely at the bus stop.

@@shelly1747 Unfortunately so. I saw a CommieDailyNews article about turning the downtown area to a 15 minute city and have seen rumors of closing car traffic down from the tincity and 41 intersection down.

Don't under estimate the cost of HOA's and HOA Karens and Insurance. It's out of control in Naples.

In 6 months time it has become ground zero for copious amounts of migrants that have come across the border. In the last two months everyone in my neighborhood has started lighting up their entire property at night. I’ve been coming to Naples since the mid 90’s and eventually I moved here in 2013 to get away from all the crazies in the city only to have the new comers scoping out my property. I’m out ASAP.
