Tainted Sorrow fr got removed for everyone because people were abusing it in chime by teleporting people off edges after they start to get pieced up with them. And it only took one hit for them to spam the tp crit to stop you from running.

some things to add game on release had horrible ping, you would never go under 100 ping the ability to use Crouch + G to make your screen grayscale and mute music so you could hear events. Comically large shadow gun :) Glacial Arc + that one modifier that turns it into a mini fimbulvetr. Most people were just one-shotting people with that. Ice Spikes used to be broken back in the day because of that one talent that sets it as a trap. Old Bloodless used to scale with PvE damage. People who were unkillable because curse of the no life king and its broken ass regeneration.

Tainted sorrows was obtainable on any weapon but it was so rare that only one person has/had it which was the old deepwoken trading hub server owner on a cestus. When hitting an enemy with Tainted sorrows they would vanish into cubes like multiplicity, Yun shul etc. After a certain amount of m1s you would launch the player up. I'm not sure if this is 100% correct since everything I wrote was from the top of my head.
