My first day as a 10-year-old at the local park learned to drop in on a full-size vert ramp that was sketched then as I roll off the flat bottom to the lot, it sticks and I snap my arm completely backward and had a long sleeve shirt on so immediately I try to pull the sleeve down it snags the bone, and I puke everywhere an ambulance ride later I sit in the hospital for 6 hrs without no attention or painkillers bc I was just a kid and didn't know if I had allergic reactions to certain meds they finally realize I'm there and say o the printer ran out of paper and bc no one refilled it for so long it canceled the print out of my charts

I bought maui shoes and i kept them and fix them with silicon and 1 year passed and finally they cut in half and bought vans pro. I really like maui even thought they are not actually skate shoes they help pretty much you know.

2:18 actually if you are literally broke, Nordstrom Rack is the best place to look for shoes. Skate pro van shoes are like $50 bucks there (usually $70-$75 normally). I found a pair of white Nike SB FC's for $50 and a pair of white full suede continental Adidas for like $45

I would add in two thing, one being that hearing "Ohhhhh!!!!" means someone behind you landed a sick trick, or two, that when you are riding in a car as a passenger, your fingers often try to skate things you see as they pass by, like a freeway onramp to a median, to a sidewalk, benches...you are constantly "THPSKater" Skating things without a skateboard, or a tech-deck, just the skateboard in your brain...
