In the world of oversharing, men should never discuss certain topics I have a list of things that should always be kept private.When I look around at all the stuff being discussed and shared currently, I cringe with embarrassment. I'm embarrassed for all of those who share things publicly that make them look clueless, stupid, and worse.
Past relationships. Whether friendships, family, or a current significant other, you look insecure if you talk negatively about past relationships. If you've actually gotten over a relationship, you're not jaded or mad. You're not angry or talking trash. Look like the bigger person.
Gossip. If somebody tells you something in private, do not share it. You should never share somebody else's dirt or problems.
Political views. Debating on social media is idiotic. You will never change somebody's opinion by posting something. You will alienate 50% of the people around you, however.
Money. Keep your finances private. Live below your means, do not spend on high-interest credit cards, and if you can't afford it, don't buy it. Identify a want versus a need. Don't waste money. Use the app Rocket Money. This financial app will help you cancel subscriptions or bills and manage your money better.
Where you stick your weiner. It doesn't matter who you slept with or what you've done sexually. It doesn't matter what positions you've done; a real man doesn't share that kind of stuff publicly or even with his buddies. You look into secure, low class, and young.
Relationship issues. If you're having problems with your significant other, do not share this information. It paints a negative view of the significant other, and if you want to move the relationship forward, this can compound the situation. Do not air your dirty laundry with anyone.
Someone else's family. Do not talk about somebody else's family negatively. When you criticize somebody else's family, it hits a whole different way. They may be crazy, but keep your mouth shut.
Insensitive jokes. You need to read the room. Don't make jokes about something negative or derogatory unless you know 100% who's in the room. You run the risk of saying something stupid that is hard to pull back or excuse.
Bad behavior. Don't discuss anything illegal.
Acting stupid. This includes social media posts. You never know who is looking at it. Don't piss off or offend others.

All great advice. These are things I wish I had learned sooner cause when I look back at my early 20's there were a number of times I was coming across as a complete douche for bragging about personal achievements when there was no context or conversation leading up to sharing those achievements. I've learned over the years to keep my mouth shut and honestly I feel better about myself for doing so.

One thing to help stay in control of finances is to call the bank you have a Credit Card with and tell them to reduce the Credit Card limit to the lowest it can go. This way, it is impossible to get into serious debt. Most banks will allow a minimum of $500 - $1,000. This is a good thing for many people since you can always call your bank to increase the limit gradually as you gain control of your spending. In most cases, you can also tell the bank to put a personal spending cap on your CC. This allows an authorized call from you to them to open up more purchasing power for emergencies only.

Another thing I'd add to the list. Anything responding to a post that could be fishing for information for identity theft. Questions like, "What was your first car," or "what's your favorite album," which are common identification security questions. I'm not saying keep your favorite album a secret from everyone, but you should be suspicious of random posts asking things like that.

Yeah definitely watch what you post on social media. I did learn this lesson before went I was younger. It was back in 2015 and the law was passed for gays to legally get married and I didn't agree with it. So my dumb ass voiced my opinion and made my fb post saying, "You can't be serious. Marriage is for a man and a woman" and well my comment section blew up and I got attacked by a bunch of lesbians trying to change my mindset. I fired back for hours then finally I had enough and deleted the post. Later on I made a post about something completely different and they hopped in the comments talking about the gay marriage thing. I did piss off alot of gay people.

I overall agree with you however I’m slightly disagree with you to a point while your points are valid if you need to talk to family regarding this because it’s like the old phrase if you don’t talk about it, they might explode as to relief stress.
