At 8:43 in terms of the bots, I find it absolutely ridiculous how aggressive they are and the fact Nintendo put a hidden difficulty setting for these bots to make you feel tempted to use more of your resources to have a better chance at beating them, especially for ranked cups is greedy! And to add more salt into the wound, I think the bots are so difficult because their primary target is the player when it comes to attacking rather than the other cpus. Sure they occasionally add their aggression to other cpus, but their main focus is still you, especially when you are either front running or in the pack. The reason why I say this is, there were times I seen other cpus drive pass another cpu holding a super horn and did not once use it. A blue shell then hits them with them still holding onto it but the moment YOU get anywhere close to them, they use the Super Horn hitting you with it. It's like racing in a Mario Kart Clan War, the only difference is instead of it being two team groups duking it out, there's just the bots with their clan and you all alone in yours. >_> Their insane precision when it comes to aiming/ sniping you with their items is crazy. It's like they have eyes in the front, back and sides of their heads! I find it even more insulting that when the game was first released, Nintendo made the ai more easier for players to compete against even on 150cc because of the difficulties that come with controlling your character with a touch screen vs using an actual controller only for Nintendo to make a future update that gives us the devil bots that we currently have now all because people were getting increasingly used to playing the game on their mobile devices. Plus I also feel like it was their way of scamming players to buy more things in the game just to have a better shot at dealing with the chaos the cpus can bring. It's so f*cking unfair and I hope the next console Mario Kart game never has the cpus play this aggressively towards the human player. It's like they mixed the rubber banding cpus from Mario Kart 64 and the precisely aggressive snipers from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe together to make the evil bots in Mario Kart Tour. Sorry about the long rant. If the bots were not so unbearable, I'd at least be a little less stressed out about doing ranked cups, especially if I feel like I have a chance to rank in the top 5.

To be fair, the bots never really get easy. I buy packs sporadically and try to level up my best drivers, and they still don't get easier. Like, even my level 6, 1,190 point Santa Bowser, level 6, 595 point Crawly Kart, and level 8, 595 point Cloud Glider in Shy Guy Bazaar still gets curbstomped by bots - especially the Asian character named bots. They seem to be the best... And worst.

I have the same pain at the third part Here's my saving for shy guy but didn't get what i want - Got Dark king boo instead of pastry chef in bowser vs dk tour - Got Yukata daisy instead of ninja shy guy in mario vs peach tour - Hoping to get both pink and blue ninja shy guy but only got a pink one in samurai tour - wish to get detective rosalina BC she's cute but got business waluigi instead - Got Penguin luigi instead of fairy daisy in bowser vs dk tour - Got swimmer mario instead of Swimwear rosalina in sydney tour - Sydney tour was the first tour i played in mario kart tour

For me, it's the bots, not getting a lot of frenzies, very few opportunities to get high amounts of rubies, coins, and tickets, ending in 7th or lower in the ranked cups (fortunately, I won last week's ranked and will probably win this one too), and getting normal/super dupes in pipes when I go for a specific high end, like coinbox, lucky 7, giant banana, and boomerang drivers, for example.

1: I have won 4 out of all 7 Team Rallies. (Only losing in Mario Vs Luigi, Peach Vs Daisy, and Toad Vs Toadette) 2: I believe that only happened in the Amsterdam Tour where I got both featured drivers in only a few 10 pulls. (But I think now in the Metropolitan Tour they might've been worth it) 3: 100% relatable. It took my nine 10-pulls and 1 single-pull to get Dr. Bowser in the Peach Vs Bowser Tour. My ruby hoard took a lot of heavy damage. 4: That usually happens on Time Trials Bonus Challenges, and even then I figured out how to be careful when drifting. 5: Yeah, filler tours are usually the tours I spend the least amount of time on. 6: I didn't know that the badges tell the difficulty of the bots until now. Even so, Multiplayer is still pretty aggressive. 7: I can never get past Tier 47, but for some reason, I can get 1st place in Tier 46. 8: Can't have that problem if I don't have the Gold Pass. (I have 25 High-End driver level boost tickets and way too many points-cap tickets) 9: Bubble, yes it's bad. Super Leaf, uh okay sure. Mushroom Cannon, excuse me? Mush Cannon is fine. 10: For me, free rubies are basically handed to me on a silver platter, and how do I hoard them? Simple don't pull on an uninteresting pipe.

I can totally relate to unnecessary pipe pulling. In the Wario vs Waluigi Tour, I was SERIOUSLY struggling in the first ranked cup. I tried pulling on the first pipe-it did not work. I wished I'd known it wasn't gonna, because Peach Happi was in the second pipe. And I failed to get her too. And it's so utterly frustrating because in the Samurai Tour she's back but in a pack. And a few months ago my dad disabled in-game purchasing on my phone after I got caught purchasing junk apps to try to get free rubies.

I agree with every point you made (even though I never participated in a Team Rally since I joined near the end of last month), especially unnecessary pipe pulls, not obtaining the character or kart I want, the game's potential of accidental item usage, the bots in races, tiers, the dire need of the Gold Pass, bad Special Skill items like the Dash Ring, the ranked cups, the Points Challenges, all Premium Challenges, and the Gold Pass Challenges. I really want to enjoy races as Toad, Toadette, and their alts (especially Toad and his alts), but courses having favorite and favored characters, karts, and gliders puts a majority of the roster at an absolute disadvantage. What really got me with this is Shroom Ridge R/T requiring 12,000 points for five Grand Stars during this year's Doctor Tour. That is just borderline impossible and unfair, especially for people just wanting to play as their favorite characters (unless they happen to be among the course's favorite or favored). Even worse, EVERY SINGLE Rosalina was at an absolute disadvantage in that track. The next tour that has a score higher than 12,000 will make me drop the game, even if I happen to have a Toad or Toadette that IS at an advantage. The game may be fun and has a marvelous roster, but its greedy, too-aggressive, too-limited, and massively luck-based nature ruined the fun for me in like one to three weeks. Shroom Ridge R/T in this year's Doctor Tour made me truly see the game's negatives outweigh the heavier positives, especially with Toad being totally useless when it comes to getting all five Grand Stars on the course.

the ranked cups kind of irks me at times. the way that the game limits your character, kart and gliders choice really puts you at a unfair disadvantage. you could have a characters kart or glider with maxed level and points. but the track puts them in the single item slot or 1x points category. but puts your lowest point and level stuff into the triple item slot and 3x points categories. for something that you tend to compete for the highest score in the cup. you can't use your best character and kart combos to contend for 1st place. this may not be a problem if you already have every character, kart and glider in the game and have them maxed out to high levels and points. but for newer players this is a struggle for them to obtain stuff they need to unlock stuff as they only have a small amount of choices.

Samurai Tour is pretty much the first filler tour of the 2022 era of Mario Kart Tour, as it only featured 3DS Wario Shipyard R/T, and 3DS Bowser Castle R/T

I suggested they add a optional item button that you could adjust on the screen to control using items so you don’t accidentally use an item you didn’t intend to use. Another problem I have experience with this game you use an item then accidentally closest the app this has happened mostly during a frenzy mode.

the one thing I can't currently do at the moment of this current moment is grind easily. this is mainly because I have 0 coin box drivers, even though I have been playing 11 tours being the holiday tour 2022 through the Amsterdam tour (this is why I was upset at not getting meows or gold egg hunt Yoshi)

Fun fact: Some of our alliance both win and lost the team rally. Here is our winning the team rally including me: Mario vs Luigi 2020: Mario, Peach vs Daisy: Peach, Mario vs Peach: Peach, and Wario vs Waluigi: Waluigi. So for ours its 4-5 won the team rally, but we lost Bowser vs DK: DK, Toad vs Toadette: Toadette, Peach vs Bowser May: Peach, Mario vs Luigi: Luigi, and Peach vs Bowser Holiday: Peach.

There is one Point missing. It's maybe a minor thing for most, but having a full Friendlist and you have to click on every Friend individualy to send a coins is such a time waster. Why you may ask? Because there are other Games before MK Tour (Pokemon Shuffle for example) also having a friendlist where you can send a heart every day. Whats better in Shuffle? You can instand send all your 30 friends in your list a heard with one single button press. No separate clicking every single one of them. So for me, this is one big thing i hate the coin send system in this Game and i know why some ppl stop sending coins at all.

In the team rally part, I can relate, you can get more rubies for winning the team rallies. Also right now it’s Mario vs Luigi and, you guessed it, team Mario is winning (I’m on team Luigi). On the 1st and 2nd days, it was even, but on the 3rd day, team mario took over our population. And I already know team Luigi is f***ed Also in the 2nd M vs L tour, I got a gold pipe, hoping for someone on team Luigi that’ll be useful, but guess what? I got someone from team Mario (I’m on team Luigi all the time), this happened to me, TWICE (I got metal Mario and aviator Mario)!

I've been trying to get the sprinter for a LONG Time and when it came out, I got all common Karts... not characters, and not gliders. Karts. And halve of the were pipe frame! But I play it... sometimes.

If you’re trying to get a driver you REALLY want and not get others, then I highly suggest you don’t go for the 50 pipes where the characters are NOT spotlight characters. If they’re not spotlight, there’s a chance you won’t get them, unless you reset the pipe.

The worst thing is that, you will NEVER win ranked, it's just luck. No skill. Hackers, tryhards, and other stuff made me stop playing mario kart tour for a while. Also the pipes are gone now, but to get a character , kart or glider, it's basically going to be 200+ rubies to get them.

About dedication I have not fired a single pijp in the last 4 tour’s so I had 450 rubbish and spent al at the newe peach and (old) daisy spotlight I had 212 rubbish not spendet so I wil doe it again in a nader tour ( gold pass was in play )

They even added 4 more cups and they didn't even add more rewards. I wish they kept the pipes good. There’s also plenty of times where MKT is only rewarding “good” players. Kart Pro is a classic example as it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get 3 straight consecutive wins in a row unless you are wicked good at the game (which I am not although I have tried to improve as much as possible). You can get it if you exit after the first race which is the easiest. It also goes for ranked cups bc you have bots that are getting impossible scores on the courses. They only reward those who are “good” at the game but leave those who may not have the time to play 24/7 in the dust. I have rage quit in Kart Pro before.

Instead, I obtained Vacation Peach, and I pulled from this pipe 60 times in a single day and sacrificed from that 270 rubies! Now I have 349 rubies, and I am afraid that I am not going to be lucky enough to obtain characters that I really want to obtain and I am going to lose even more rubies. For example, I believe that soon I am going to have an opportunity to obtain Swimwear Daisy, and I am afraid that in the tour in which I will have this opportunity I am going to lose almost all my rubies without obtaining Swimwear Daisy or any other character that I want to obtain and still don't have.

Those so called "filler tours" are nothing to hate on, everyone. How is seeing a new R/T track not exciting? R/T tracks are the easiest to keep combo on! In fact, my three most enjoyed tours are ones in which no new tracks were introduced! They were the Space Tour, the Wedding Tour and the Autumn Tour.

The special items I consider bad are the Bob-omb Cannon, the Bubble, the Heart, the Banana Barrels and the Triple Green Shells. In fact, Funky Kong was so popular in Mario Kart Wii that they had to give him the worst special item: the Banana Barrels. In contrast, Pink Gold Peach was so overhated in Mario Kart 8 that they had to give her the best special item.

But my argument about Pink Gold Peach still stands-Nintendo wasn't happy that Pink Gold Peach got all the hate, and they wanted to her to get some attention when she came to Mario Kart Tour, so they gave her the best special item, the Coin Box. And I do have a few reasons why Banana Barrels are bad. Number one, most of the bananas tend to not actually land on the road, especially in a frenzy. Number two, you can still crash on your own bananas. And number three, the barrels don't fire Giant Bananas often enough.

Don't say Tanooki Leaf is the worst special item. Chances are that sooner or later, you'll be surprised by how many points you rack up when you use it near a Coin Box. Also, since I have no top shelf characters for Wario Shipyard R, in this week's ranked I had to rely on my Tanooki Rosalina locked at 980. And it turns out WSR with no top shelf characters is harder than it looks, and the only way I could do any good was by getting a Tanooki Leaf on the gliding section near the end to scoop up the large clump of coins there. BTW I am not a Kong hater. And you have given me enough reasons for me to change my opinion and say that Banana Barrels is the worst special item. And I have enough experience with Sunshine Mario to agree that Giant Banana is a great special item. And I didn't say Banana Barrels were bad JUST because it can cause a crash-my main reason was that most of the bananas didn't land on the road.

what about the gacha game pipes. you mentioned the luck but you never mentioned the system itself, its pretty bad. you cant play any track whenever- i know that thats not part of the game but id like to have more selection than the set 12 bonus challenges and 36 races, a bunch of which are other versions of the same track (like tokyo blur 2 for example) or R, T, or R/T courses too. good video otherwise though

I've only won two Team Rallies, the Mario vs Luigi and the Mario vs Peach. But as the old saying goes, you can accept failure, but you can never accept not trying. However, I'm still mad at those Team Wario idiots-if they hadn't overdosed on tokens on day 13, Team Wario would've had the support bonus on the last day, and that likely would've made me even on wins and losses.

One thing I hate in Mario Kart Tour is that Detective Baby Rosalina isn't top shelf on any Rainbow Road tracks, and she can never become top shelf because she isn't middle shelf on any either! That's the one and only reason I'll never be interested in her. If it was up to me, Detective Baby Rosalina would be top shelf on SNES Rainbow Road R/T, 3DS Rainbow Roads N, T and R/T and RMX Rainbow Roads 1T and 2R/T. Also if it was up to me her special item would be the Coin Box. Do you think that's a good special item for her?
