It just wasn't your time yet, LD! You're still here because God has a purpose for you, and I believe that this channel is a major part of that purpose! Just think of how many people have decided to either stop/reduce drinking, or never start in the first place after watching your videos! Coming across you're channel here on YT has been one of the greatest "accidents" of my life. Words cannot express how helpful your content has been to me in my sobriety journey. I appreciate you so much for paying it forward and being a force for good in this world, it means so much!! You're absolutely right when you say sobriety improves every aspect of your life. In fact, sobriety can save your life altogether. Letting go of that awful poison was the best decision I ever made. I can't promise that I'll never drink again because I don't know what the future holds, but today is another day of sobriety under my belt and hopefully tomorrow will be too!! Thanks LD! 🙏❤😇

Im so thankful I finally decided to click your videos after a few times seeing them in my recommended. At first I saw them i saw the channel was called Liver Disease and it freaked me out and i tried to ignore it but they kept popping up and then I was like no you need to face the fact that you drink several beers a week and your an alcoholic. Havent quit yet but I cut down tremendously. Im laying low for the holidays and going into 2025 strong and sober! Looking forward to 2025 with the LD crew! Much Love!

I love plants too. I've done the same .get a start and then it thrives.. I want to volunteer again with a dog..as a visiting therapy dog for seniors..hospitals etc. I miss that.😊 it's been a couple of years now.

I quit 2 Memorial day weekend ago. 100%. If I didn't I'd still be drinking 1 box wine and a case of Heineken beer a week. My liver cirrhosis would've been worse. Possible need for a liver transplant accordingto my doctor. So would my early alzheimer's, early dimentia. Anyway 18 months...no alcohol, no junk food, no fast food, no tv/dont have cable anymore too expensive. Walks everyday, read, puzzle books, garden, house cleaning. My minds, body, liver, marriage, family, at peace

I just crossed two weeks with no alcohol. I'm hoping body body can heal. I was dealing with gut issues and inflammation as well as body itching. The itching is still there, but I guess it may take some time to heal.

I can actually tell when my liver isn't doing well because of the soreness. I just got my CT scan done so im hoping i didnt really mess myself up this time. That was back when I was stuck neck deep in the s·@t. I think I came back to the channel to see how you were doing and that was last year sometime - it probably showed up in my feed. Then I have watched every video since. Yoda says, "Good work, you do." For realz, my man. l suffered everything you described except for permanent liver damage. For that I am thankful. I think you estimated the money you spent on alcohol and cigs as $250,000 - A Quarter of a million. Stay healthy.
