I lived in Yucca Valley in the 1980’s, even drove an ambulance for what was then called Joshua Tree Ambulance. We used to go to Pappy and Harriets when they ran it- it’s a little too commercialized for my taste now.

Camped behind the old Western houses in Pioneertown a couple times. It was great being just walking distance from Pappy & Harriet's. Excellent video of Joshua Tree!

Just visited Joshua Tree for the first time a couple weeks back, absolutely fell in love with it. The towering rock stacks are unreal. Great video!

Nice video… you left me hanging for that swimming hole…totally respect your reason for keeping the exact location to yourself. I hope to find it when we go there though.

THE HIDDEN GEM WITH THE WATER SPOT IS CALLED "GARTH'S BOULDER GARDENS" IN YUCCA VALLEY. Garth is gay (no judgements here but he really doesn't like women so he won't let them post anything online 😂 which is stupid because when you search there's multiple videos)...anyways go visit it, we lived out there for 4 months tending to the permaculture garden. It's open to the public but they appreciate donations left at the entrance on God's Way Love.

@@morethancycling Of course! I stayed in the boulder library... but they recently turned that into an art gallery. Anyway, still a beautiful property! It has art installations, a boulder "crystal castle", an outdoor amphitheatre, a yurt, gardens, "magic bus", mutiple tepees (the concrete one is Garths home so it's best to respect his space and stay out...) 2 outdoor kitchens...."birdhouse cots" that literally fit 1-2 people laying down only..but they're so cute! There's purple cacti, his pet dogs, peacocks, hummingbirds, roadrunners and more critters and birds...and that pool! Check it out!

@@morethancycling yes! I can't link it, KZbin deleted my first time trying to but search 'hotels near pioneertown'. You know, I'm almost positive Garth would allow you to camp on his property (it's 620+ acres!!!) If you asked him and left a donation! There's plenty of spaces to! Might I also suggest going to see the Integratron. It's a dome shaped building tourists go for sound baths (crystal bowls in an acoustic building). It has pretty cool history behind it. A pilot named George Van Tassel built it as a time machine before passing away in a flight accident (my father knew/flew with him, said he was quite a character and would go on rants about time travel). Look him up, fascinating guy. Also if you want to book a sound bath they only allow reservation and appointment. It's like $50 a person and they're only open a few months out of the year but it's worth it for a spiritual experience! Hope that helps!

These look like settlements in Fallout. Vintage scrapyards, movie sets, etc. just add ghouls and rad roaches.

I was there yesterday and the place was a madhouse with all the traffic. There’s no place to pull over to get out and look at things because everybody’s filled the parking lots and the side of the roads are solid. Driving through and going someplace else was our best solution.

You are not supposed to get in the water if you're in the park. It's for wildlife not you filming so everyone will stare at you.

He would address my partner but not me the majority of the time😂 I didn't mind since I stayed in the boulder library a distance away... but they recently turned that into an art gallery. Don't play with fire. Cancer is actually caused by 70kV 100amp on a 10²⁴ Hz silent invisible Preassure gun known as a Gauss Laser (Gamma Ray Powered Surveyor pod of Surgeon General) mounted under Lockheed Martin General Atomics unmanned combat drones. The MQ9 R.E.A.P.E.R. is the most common one that resonates the effects of forced smoking cancer sometimes delayed up to 111 years of your lifetime. Often the MQ9 Reapers fly over Sector 44 Gamma Gulch road where Garth Bowles keeps that pool (hopefully Baby Kitty aka Sherman Mao cat still lives there along with Quennie and Moonshadow). I got shot by the MQ9 Reaper and trashes Garth's place long time ago when I was trying to work for him. Surgeon General of General Atomics is MERCILESS. One of its effects forces people to see this: |♤|~|○| |◇|~|□| |□|~|♤| |○|~|◇| ●《》● Blindness Zombification Dish Shock to abdomen followed with a pituitary gland lock. Heavy microwave assault Cauterizer laser of the Gorgon Stare (the name of the 70kV by 100amp 368 Node cutting cancerous infusing silent shock cannon of U.S.Navy Unmanned Aviation Strike Tactics) ¹²¹⁵⁰ varieties of all maladies and heavy inner ear hypnosis. Fire is never worth it. God actually really mechanically detests living things. God is unfortunately term referring to one year or the Surgeon General. When it microwaves someone for a long time it puts on a sparky blue light if it is at low altitude. I saw a lot of Grim Reaper UAV above at low altitude when I worked for Garth. I miss my baby kitty dirty Nazi Mauser fat squirrel killing cat. What a boss face he had.

I clicked on this video just to find out what was that spot with the natural hot spring in between the rocks and you don't tell us!!! What an A**hole this person is to tell you not to reveal the location of a public place!!! Unbelievable the selfishness and anti-human sentiment some people have. They don't decide who can go where and do what..

Hot take, the only reason people go to Joshua tree and the surrounding areas is to get away from their normal life and go somewhere remote, there is nothing special about the town or the spikey trees of pain.
