It does suck but it is also not a huge deal. In my opinion the number will be what the player wants. HB with number 67 will be weird af but hey. . role play it as a number of significance for him. That will make it more enjoyable for me.

@@shaun_177if a rb is number 67 it has nothing to do with that being “his favorite number” lol you can try to trick your self but that means something is wrong in the game and we should be able to change it

I’m definitely leaning towards being more of a Motivator along with Recruiter. Those are historically the best coaches (Bear Bryant, Jimmy Johnson, Saban, Urban, etc). While Tacticians usually have more issues being the Head Coach (initially) - think Lane Kiffin, Ryan Day, Lincoln Riley, etc. But I’ll have multiple Dynasties so I’ll try them all eventually.

I agree. I also think tactician will be a bit cheese early on then will drop off as players develop to a specific threshold. I think I'll be going motivator. Then I'll seek coordinators with elite recruiter and tactician branches .

Honestly, I'm glad my CSU Rams are absolute bums year in and out. Making them better will be the most satisfying thing, and it's gonna be super enjoyable because the MW isn't a cake-walk. I can't wait for next week!!

I feel like number 3 will be something everyone does by default. Because with wear and tear going to want to build up depth to switch players in and out to keep them fresh throughout the season.

One thing we've done as well is limit the offensive playcalls based on the QB year. FR can only use the 3 recommended plays. SO can use the 3 recommended plus one page up or down but not both. JR can use 9 plays 3 recommended plus 3 above/below. SRs can use whole suite of recommended plays and RS SRs can call any play in the playbook. Makes who you start in tight QB position battles matter.

Another one we do is require a certain number of games be simmed. In Madden we would only play 10 of 17 games and sim the wild card round and only play divisional playoff round if home. For this game we're planning to play 8 of 14 games and only play 1st round of playoffs if home team. Some restrictions on what games have to be simmed etc.

My 2 ideas: 1. Play as multiple coaches. Who better to recruit against than yourself? If the teams meet in the playoffs or bowl game, simulate. Who has the better career? Heisman winners and all-americans? Watch their careers pan out with job offers. 2. Conference relegation system. Relegate and promote schools to P4 conferences to allow them better opportunities to grow.

for #6 I think that crazy to do because we as fans cried for different commentators/analyst to do the game. That’s being a sort of hypocrite cause we cried and cried year after year for fresh commentators. But I do understand as well about the aspect of just being in the game.

What I do is chart everything offline in excel. I'll also do a random generator for injuries each week, pretending these players got banged up in practice and can't play that week. I'll also use travel rosters!! In real college football, only 65 of your full 90 man travel on away games. I will also at random, pick a couple players who didn't make the grades, so I will redshirt them for having too low of a GPA. Things like this give you back stories and make it extra fun

Doesn't sound like it. At least in online dynasties they said this can only be changed by the commissioner which makes me think its not logic driven but completely player driven.
