another tip that i found: pistol ammo sells for a good coin - and often you dont need medics on missions. And almost certainly not in a offensive role. how ever combing a machine gunner with medic is a deadly combo! by selecting the right skills you can both blast the enemy with your MG AND heal up wounded allice. Therefor once i have a workshop car, i set some enigneers to make pistol ammo. And then sell it in towns. a sniper and grenadier combo is also very effective - pretty much an assasin that can sneak up on big groups of enemy (or tanks later in the game) and throw grenades at them - or one shot them with critcal shot once that skill is unlucked ps getting around 13.000-16.000 of gold is need for getting new wagon trains. And expanding your train with new cars are some of the most important things in this game.

I might have already finished the game, but you have brought a bit more wisdom to my gameplay I agree with your last tip, the sniper and rifleman combo is great. Sweeping the map for resources is also good, I finished my last play with >2000 fuel I did not know about the shared XP, I thought some went directly to the soldier As for placing another car ahead of the locomotive, on my last play I always stopped to clear obstructions, as they provide wood, and in later regions, the chance of gaining a grenade

@@TheGamesBrew Hello . Can you help me ? I don't get the numbers when hovering mouse over ammo when crating squad for mission or in mission. On the right is money and on the left ammo with small storage symbol . In missions also nothing makes sense. It says I take 60 ammo and in mission I have 300 with that rifleman . And still some number when hovering over ammo where ammo with solider sim to cost less than in storage. Then sometimes there is number of ammo like 800(1) and sometimes (2) . It sims I have . Medical. kits I have 8 in mission in total but when i pause game and hover above that number below says 176(22) - 1032(174) and same goes for ammo ? Please can you help explain this numbers ?

@@perunthegreat554 Hi 🍻 The left symbol, represented by a crate, indicates the total weight of the objects. The number within parentheses indicates the weight of a single object. For example, if you have 5 muskets, the left number is 600 (total weight), and on the right is the weight of one gun (i.e., 120). So, 120x5=600. The same principle applies to ammunition and other items. During a mission, each soldier has a limit for magazines, med-kits, grenades, etc., that they can carry into the field. This limit can be increased by researching the corresponding upgrade in the workshop car. I hope this explanation was helpful! 😉 Cheers!🖖

@@TheGamesBrew Yes thank you that is how much is taken from storage space . But what is other number. I have 7 rifles and left number is 840(120) so one rifle takes 120 and 7 weight or take 840 but on the right under coin symbol is 5670(810) . It is not price in stores to buy or sell. Thank for answering , maybe you explained all but I think still I don't know what other number is. EDIT I found out and what i stupid concept this is. They HAD to explain . It is price but not when you buy or sell but arithmetic middle of the two. Selling price+ buying price /2 . So it is 130% more or less of how much you sell and 70% of how much that item cost you when you buy. If gun is 100 you will sell it for 70 and buy it for 130 and number in question will be 100 . So if you have 7 guns it will be 700(100).

The real leginaires used the same tactics on their ride, because reds also used other trains to strike against their trains. And also when obstacles was on the trails, the wagon in front of locomotive protects it. In Czech republic was made one of the "legio train" as museum and traveled from city to city to show the reality of legions.

I’m only like 2/10 of the way though the game and I haven’t YET needed to ram through any obstacles on the rails that would have needed me to put a carriage in front of the locomotive engine but I’m sure I’ll be unpleasantly surprised in future when the Reds lay land mines or something else horrible in my way 😂

Great work my Man. Is there any tip on how to avoid using fabric and lumber by sending squads to Points of Interest (POI) when it's cold? I have upgraded soldiers coats on early stage of the game (before low temperatures appeared), but it seems that this upgrade didn't helped and I still always use 1xfabric and 1xwood for every soldier from squad...

Thanks! 🫡☺️You could try sending them on a mission during the morning when the weather is less cold, but at a certain point fuel and fabric will be essential in order to avoid frostbite or illness 🍻

Nice video!!! In one of the missions i literally dont use ammo, and collect all of the map, but when y come back to the train guess what? I almost was without bullets and other things that i believe i was getting "for free". Any clues why?

Hi, for the wagon there is the tip in the video 🤣 the workshop ✌🏻 ammo, if I recall correctly, are automatically divided among the soldiers. If one soldier is without ammo it means that you don't have enough ammo of that particular caliber 🍻

@@TheGamesBrew personally i would take the workshop car and then the hospical car. Ammo and healing up your soldiers are essential to the war effort. And then as a 3rd wagon i would take the kitchen car to make more food. mind you that the cooks in kitchen car needs herbs to make more food - so stock up on that.

Silly questions but I haven't find the answer anywhere besides this video: you get new cars/vagoons only in specific events by proceeding in the main missions? Or can you buy them somewhere at any time? Been playing for 8 hours and still had no option to get a hospital or workshop, only got the default ones:(

Hey 👋 the first choice is "scripted" and you will have the possibility of get the workshop car, the kitchen car or the hospital one (if I remember correctly it is after Moscow). After that, just few stations will have train cars to sell. For the gun car is the same 🍻

Does squad size have any impact on the number of resources you can pull from map POIs? It would make sense to me that sending ten soldiers to a timberland would let them haul back more wood than just three but I can't tell for sure and the fan wiki for the game is pretty sparse.

If you’re low on cash; Pistol Ammo & Coffee are lucrative ways to upscale your resources. Always upgrade the Engineering, Kitchen & Hospital wagon’s Resource Refund research node before attempting to craft ANYTHING. You have little to waste, in time & material. Hold onto your weapons, you may want to sell them but; some beneficial events require having spares & if you have a tired crew, high threat & POIs you want to explore/harvest, then being able to pull together a squad is very useful in a pinch. Cycle out your soldiers to non combat roles to enhance their stats; take notes if you need to, you can have some exceptional individuals with well optimised passives perks & overall raw HP & Stam/Endurance.
