1) not every glitter is gold 2) everything by ourselves 3) competitive 4) part time job 5) tickets expensive 6) friends/ family (mentally prepared) 7) uni don't care if u're placed. Do everything by urself 8) soft skills to stand out from others.. presentation skills, speaking, acedemic writing 9)local food 10) don't spend money on new gadgets, explore but save money 11) always option to move back to India or ur family

But please mention while you use maps (in this case India) that they are for reference only.Some of them are absolutely misleading and threatens the territorial integrity and sovereignty of India. I want to go to abroad for my PHD studies and PHD students gets stipend even i would go by taking scholarships ,, i had researched that most of the Universities even don't take fees like OSLO University (( Norway )) and etc so i dont need to worry so much but yes few points you told is really which have to be kept it mind
