10 Things You May Not Know About Me

Hey Friends!
Welcome to SheriTV! We've had lots of requests for this "About Me" type of video in the past, but we were hesitant to give in because we weren't sure it fit the format of the channel. Now that we have rebranded with a more "open" format, we thought it was time to acquiesce. We took a little trip for a change of scenery, flipped the camera on and let loose with 10 things you may not know about me. As we work and experiment with different topics on SheriTV, feel free to let us know what you think about this video. As always, suggestions are welcome in the comments below.

Great informative and honest video about yourself Sheri! Hard to believe that at one time you were very shy, you have a great outgoing personality. Could also see you do theater or Broadway since you’ve enjoyed dancing since such a young age. Reading is always good for the mind as well for the heart. I can honestly say I thought you might be a little taller than what you say you are but it doesn’t really matter! Have a great day and stay safe/healthy!

So many of your 10 things are similar with me. I have a daughter who is in her early 30's and is 4'11"! When she was in high school she played field hockey and lacrosse. One day they said come to practice the next day and reveal something about themselves that no one knows! Her team had fun with it! She went to practice and her hair was very curly and everyone thought she had gotten a perm! However she had naturally curly hair and always straightened it! I broke my collar bone when riding a bike down a hill when I was 12 (I believe the spokes broke) and have always had a fear of riding a bike on hills since then! I am one of five children, two older sisters and one older brother and one younger sister. I always have been shy! Don't love to fly but if it gets me someplace awesome I will do it! Thanks for sharing!

I was super shy too! I had friends, but they were all a grade above me. So, for eighth grade, I was alone. But, I loved reading, so I actually used to spend my lunch in the library as well. Our librarian was super awesome too! She would let me help her set up for book fairs and if she needed an assistant, she would ask for me. She even made me a second library account so that I could check out two books at once. Librarians don't get enough love.

What a great idea....as I am a newer subscriber this past year I enjoyed your fun facts....I also have 2 brothers they are both older...they mean the world to me...growing up i was envious that they got 1 each brother and sister! They both have amazing wives and now that we are all in our 50's we are all planning to retire to the same state

I'm super short too! I don't like take off or landing either! I don't mind big crowds but not for an extended period of time. I've learned to handle it so my little guy could get the experience of amusement parks, football games etc.! Hope to meet yall one day!

Nice fun facts. I too get very nervous flying, actually the week before we fly I'm a nervous wreck. My husband was in the Merchant Marine and refused to cruise. I have been cruising all of my life. I finally convinced him to book a 3 day cruise, what does he do? Book a 12 day cruise. This was 20 years ago and we have cruised often ever since. Now that we only have one kid left home we cruise at least twice a year. We sure do miss cruising. Keep up the good work, you are a lot of fun to watch.

My husband hated the thought of flying if he couldn’t drive there then we weren’t going. He hated that someone else was in control. I booked a cruise to Mexico from Long Beach and told him if he wants to come he has to fly. He loves it now his favourite part is take off he loves the speeding up part to take off he gets so giddy. He also learned that he loves California even though it’s the only place he’s been but he’s got some gamer friends there so our next trip when we are allowed across the boarder will be to San Francisco and Willits area.

I have never flown, too scared. Like cruising though. Also so shy that I didn’t even speak in school until 10th grade!! Oh yeah, and didn’t ride a bike after falling off until my teens. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

No crowds, I am that way too. I am 5’1” and think it has to do with being short. People ignore you, run in to you more, you feel swallowed up in a crowd. Not a fan of crowds which is why I like small cruise ships and not a fan of crowded excursions either. Have to say did not enjoy RC Oasis of the Seas that had 6k people on it. I know that is probably sacrilege lol but...🤷‍♀️

I also am a nervous flier. It all started with 9/11 for me as well. I will NOT let it prevent me from seeing the world though! I just white knuckle through the take off, landing, and turbulence!

I also am shy always have been. Don’t like to fly and will hang on to someone or something so tight my knuckles turn white. Not a public speaker. My mom made take a speech and debate class. I hated it. Put a microphone in front of me and I get very nervous. Can’t do large crowds. Don’t have a filter lol and my mother puts me on speakerphone all the time. You would think she would learn. I usually find out she has me on speakerphone because someone in the background starts laughing. 🤦‍♀️ And all this social distancing well I was a pro at it before it became a thing. Sooo.... do you NOT age?!?! With the exception of the bangs, you look exactly the same! I had the same bangs so I can’t laugh. Those were the good old days! LOTS of Aquanet!! I like to travel, my husband does not, so I usually go with another family member. I don’t know what it is, but the night before flying out on my last 3 trips before cruises, my husband has picked Titanic twice and Sully to watch. The third time I was like no... and made him change it. He felt bad when he realized. 😳
