Been going for years and hadn’t been to many places you listed. Just didn’t know! Thank you!!! Looking forward to seeing these places! We always stay at Hidden Mountain Cabin Resort every time. Great owners! We stay at the same cabin, and it feels like home away from home. 🥰

I love that Long Story Short store. I wandered in there after walking back to the KOA from the Island and spent like an hour there just mesmerized by all the unique things they have.

This might be a bit biased from me as a bird lover but i think parrot mountain is a must-go. it’s located a few minutes away from dolly wood and is the whole reason we went to pigeon forge. It definitely didn’t disappoint!

Every bird lover should go. Amazing time well worth the money. And you can stay as long as you want.

Like you, I grew up going to Pigeon Forge. Some of my earliest memories are from the Smokies. I love how the city has managed to maintain much of its charm despite all the growth (though there are some things I can do without - looking at you Jurassic Jungle eyesore). I remember wondering if the Island would ever be completed during the late 2000s recession, and hoping for some kind of revival at the Belz Mall. I'm proud of what both projects became. I always look forward to my next trip to Pigeon Forge and whatever new attraction has arrived. I can't wait to ride SkyFly, I love Soarin' at Epcot so I know I'll love SkyFly.

Tourist trap in its truest sense. I used to live in Pigeon Forge. Played drums in one of the stage shows. But without the tourist money there is no Pigeon Forge. Just not crazy about the cheap feel that all of the stores give to the area. Such a beautiful place with the Smoky Mountains as a backdrop.
