I keep hearing people say that this is such a sluggish thing...I went from a Mitsubishi Mirage to a '23 Equinox RS, and man...this thing is a BEAST...I dunno WHAT these people are comparing to haha.

Too harsh of a review. It’s not a bad vehicle. I see tons of these on the road in Northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana. I liked it better than similar sized Subarus that I test drove.

I rented this Chevy Equinox & Nissan Rogue within 6 months of each other. The Equinox was a much better vehicle to rent. The Equinox seemed to have a regular torque converter automatic transmission. The Rogue had a CVT which was so sluggish, merging on an Interstate was quite dangerous. Definitely, stay away from that Nissan. At home, I drive an old 2012 Honda CRV that would drive rings around that Nissan.

Better a low RPM than the CVT in the CR-7 with the CVT. You can't hear yourself talk at highway speed.

IF you want more cops on the road, most departments are under-staffed, so fill out the paperwork to become one....most people complain but don't want to do anything about it.

I own a 2011 Equinox with 87,337 miles. I'm looking to buy a new car soon. I don't understand why they just don't give the newer Equinoxes peppier engines. It makes no sense. They have a lot of nice features but come on with the engine already.

@@kdeh21803 Bought it brand new. Back & forth to work about 40 miles round trip. Been retired for 5 years now. Took a few road trips, but nope, not lots of driving.

I just went from a 2016 Equinox LS AWD with 66,782 miles that I've owned since new to a 2024 Equinox LT AWD with the Safety and Infotainment Package and 18" wheels. The new one is around 500lbs lighter than my 2016 Equinox. So, I don't feel a lack of power with the 1.5 turbo compared to the 2.4 engine. What I do noticed is that the 1.5 is quieter and more refined. In fact, the whole car is quieter and more refined.

We just bought a new Chevy.....and I hate hate the Infotainment Center.....they have done away with CD's so I put all my collection on a thumbdrive only to find out it does not accept the format I had all the music in, so I changed the format and it worked ONLY to find out you could not change the selection while the vehicle is in motion so you can only change the selection while you are stopped...................... what a waste!

@@anndean4856 it’s so crazy that we have to do that again. Back in college (circa 1998) I used a portable CD player in my 1990 Geo Tracker. I had cords all over the place. Sad to say we’ve come full circle 🤦‍♀️

Not enough width in the driver seat. leather seats are uncomfortable. 36k for a pretty stripped down version. Standard speakers are weak, barely any bass, or treble. Suspension is awful, you will feel any bump in the row. Just bought this thing and I can't wait to get rid of it.
