So refreshing DL is back... missed your beneficial reminders wallahi. I think the best way to describe this is the Hadith about following them until the lizard hole, Muslims sheepishly copying & glorifying these non-Muslim entertainers. Even from a Dunya POV, so many have berated it as being unoriginal and uncivil, yet it's being admired subhanallah. If you can, I'd love for you to cover this viral video about "Minnesota Somali gang problem", whereby a YT channel goes to different neighbourhoods and talks to their "gangs", I was shocked and disappointed to see Minnesota Somalis dress, imitate and think like "gangbangers" when interviewed, comments section rife with Minnesota Somali youth are ever increasing turning to this lifestyle. I hope the video is only showing a tiny subculture and in reality our brothers & sisters aren't flocking to the drugs, gangs and other toxic attractions which beguile the youth in the West. Is it an environment to raise our children? Is it time for Somalis to start moving to the suburbs of MN to avoid this gang problems? I have relative who have decided not to live in Minneapolis and to choose the sleepy cities close-by for this exact reason. Would love to hear about this.
