10 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Super Saiyan God

A lot of people find the Super Saiyan God form overly simple, but the reason why the Saiyan God (what I call it) design looks so "lazy" to most people is because it's not actually a transformation like the Super Saiyan forms, it's just base Goku with God Ki instilled into him - hence, he looks exactly the same except for the coloration changes to his design. And thus, Super Saiyan God (what I call the blue form) looks like a recoloring of the Super Saiyan transformation because it *IS* just the standard Super Saiyan form, but used with that God Ki at the same time, hence why it doesn't look like its own unique form altogether.

The red God form and blue hair form are completely different... The red hair form is achieved by the saiyan ritual which is basically the saiyan version of a god. Super saiyan blue isn't a God form created by the saiyans, it is merely goku and vegeta not allowing ki to leak from their body as whis noticed when they were training on beerus' Planet. Even though you can't feel ki with either form, they aren't necessarily connected to one another. Which makes me wonder why the red one has the name super saiyan in it, it should just be called saiyan god since it has his base hair shape

There is DBGT, DBS, then there is the manga DBS, and then there is Dragon Ball Online which despite being closed still holds some interesting "canon", then there are things from DB Xenoverse that took things from DBO. Personally I like the idea of Gohan writing a book that brings more fighters, then there is Kuririn and Tien making their schools and Trunks and Goten as well...

Going off the GT comparison, what do you think of this hypothesis I came across where Super Saiyan God (Red) didn't first appear in Battle of Gods, but Dragonball GT? Before fusing into Gogeta, Goku received power from Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and Pan (only one not in Super Saiyan form) before receiving Vegeta's power during fusion. It could be possible to have super saiyan blue 2 and 3 but not mui ssj 1/2/3 because mui requires the mind to be clear of all thoughts and extreme calmness while super saiyan is fuelled by rage and without training is very hard to maintain and takes lots of effort the first few times. So combining the two would pretty much be impossible. Also if goku tried using ssjb3 he would pretty much kill his body because super saiyan 3 uses lots of energy and even some life force so combining that with blue which also drains lots of ki he would be asking to die. Though I guess he could try ssjb2 since ssj2 doesn't drain much more ki than ssj. Though I doubt he'll actually ever do it.

It isn't ment to be a new ssj transformation dumbass. People like you say "Its just a recoloring of the ssj transformation." Well no shit. It is the ssj transformation but with god ki. Its suppose to look like the original ssj. Maybe the color wasn't right but you shouldn't have expected something as crazy as ss4 which is a totally different form that doesn't relate to ssj.

YOU MENTIONED THE HEALING FACTOR IN SSG! ive been asking all around about this cuz it seems everyone just forgot as well as the anime and manga. it made me think ssg is something different than ssgss or ssblue. somehow more powerful or at least in my version the ulquiorra factor. a slight sacrifice in power for a healing factor that is quite potent.

I am unsure of the difference in speed between the two forms. BUT Super Saiyan God does seem to have little to no stamina issues,unlike the ones that Super Saiyan Blue seems to suffer from. Super Saiyan Blue would be okay fighting an enemy to quickly finish them off. But for knock down,drawn out fights like Frieza vs Goku on the original Planet Namek or in the Tournament of Power. The Super Saiyan God form seems like it would definitely be the way to go. To even make Super Saiyan Blue more usable in longer and drawn out fights with less stamina issues,the characters would have to train more with the form in an attempt to correct the form's stamina issues. Super Saiyan Blue's stamina issues are just like the stamina issues Goku was having with his Super Saiyan 3 form all over again.

One thing that I have heard other discussions (not sure if it’s already here), is that the reasoning behind the differences between super Saiyan god in the battle of gods movie and in other cases, is that there is a normal super Saiyan god, then the ritual version. The normal version has the power boost, god ki, and for the most part the same power, but the ritual version of super Saiyan god has certain perks like accelerated healing as seen when Goku heals from a mortal wound. There may be more differences between the versions, but this seems to make the most sense as it proves that the ritual version and the non-ritual version are different and why the ritual version would not at the time be obsolete.

Ssjg and ssjb doesn't power you up.Note that, Ssjg is just a form that maintain the full control of your BASE Ki. Unlike basics ssjs that just power you up and make your ki larger and harder to control we got ssj3 As an example

I know SSJB is stronger only because it' s the SSJ form with the ki of a SSJG, but the healing factor has always interested me and I hope we get more insight on it later. It's like Zamasu's immortality ability, Stabbed in the chest, but heals.
