I’ve never liked a show as much as Schitt’s Creek. I’ve never felt as safe as when I’m in its world. I’ve never known love as free to grow as when I’m watching it. It’s not been an easy year for any of us, but knowing that it will always be there for us makes everything okay. I think that the fact that there is no homophobia or bigotry in Schitt's Creek is wonderful and that is why it means so much to LGBTQAI+ people and their allies. There never needed to be an angsty episode where people were commenting on David's Pan-sexuality, Patrick being Gay, Jake being Polyamorous (although I suspect that Jake is a Sexual Hedonist rather than Poly) or Ronnie being a Lesbian. Everyone just accepts everyone for who they are, and wouldn't that be a wonderful world to live in? Thanks to Dan, Eugene and all the cast, crew and writers for creating this perfect gem of a show that has shown us how beautiful the world could be. They will never truly understand what they have given us or how much their beautiful creation has meant to us. Our effusive thanks is but a mote of dust in the beam of sunlight we bask in thanks to them. We will forever be indebted to them for the joy they have given us in 22 minute segments and I wish nothing but the best of luck with all future endeavours.

I just recently found this show and have then binged obsessively. Though I love the family and enjoyed watching them evolve, I particularly fell in love with Dave! He had the best role and one that just gave me a Rollercoaster ride of emotion. I found myself crying in his sad moments and cheering him on during the courageous ones and feeling nothing but joy & happiness when he finally found the "one". Loved this show, so sad it's over. David was my favorite of then all.

I loved this show so much. He became my antidepressant, my “mood pill”. And David's song for Patrick (Season 4 Episode 9) is an absolute masterpiece !!!!! Den Levy is great. David Rose's character frankly fell in love with him! He's great in every episode! And the romantic line David + Patrick = this is a separate delight. How beautifully, subtly and tenderly the history of the development of their relationship is shown. Thanks to everyone who created and played this story.

My favorite David moment is when he tells Patrick he loves him back, and Patrick jokingly reminds him he forgot to bring him a tea. David is basically an over the top, more fashionable version of myself in every way, who shares my semi Hebraic heritage and name, and I’d totally interrupt a confession of of love to make the moment perfect for a guy I was genuinely in love with. Otherwise, any time Simply the Best comes up, I get happy tears. All of the Roses grew, but seeing the most truly sensitive member of the family grow to accept love, friendship, family, and outgrow most of the things that poisoned him with self loathing, and be able to bloom with a solid partner was great.
