I agree! Even if it’s cleaning one part everyday to then finally be clean later. I know some people are in a not healthy routine and it’s hard to start all at once. Doing one thing everyday will become a habit like making your bed or cleaning your vanity after getting ready etc.

One habit I have incorporated is that, after my shower, when I rub oil into my body, I do it consciously and thank my body parts for all they help me to do, i. e. , my heart for being openly loving, my arms for being strong and allowing me the pleasure of hugging people, etc. It’s a very powerful thing to do and fosters a great appreciation for myself. 💜😇

The 95% micro habit spoke to me as well as your example! I'm a watercolor artist in the midst of turning my art into digital works for print on demand sites. I'm feeling pressure that I've placed on myself to get it right and find myself getting taken out of the feminine energy I love being in when I paint. I just need to give myself that 5% and not overthink it : )

I appreciate your talk on this topic. This year I started studying yin-yang energy and balancing chi. I started organizing spaces in my life according to feng shui principles (my home office first, my side of the bed, closet, and bathroom, then my office at work and now I’m working on the front porch and living room). I can’t tell you how this has transformed my life. I feel it is very “feminine” or yin to attune to the more subtle energies all around us as well as quiet rhythms of the seasons and the moon. This is now a wonderful lifestyle that has brought me to a center of being alive never experienced before, and I feel 100% content. I wish you well!

I guess we thrive on those little things, I feel so blessed and filled with joy for finding your channel and having those thoughts validated

OMg the walking thing is REAL! Recently I tried to walk more flowey, like a cat almost, more elegant and such. People kept LOOKING AT ME omg like in a good way! I could sense what energy I radiated and the attention came right back to me, it was insane. Can recommend.

Thanks for starting with tip 1, I adore it and will be following the advice! I’m finding it so odd that I for some reason have had this weird thought process of ‘the women who walk with swayed hips are naturally like that, it would be weird for me to try to change how I walk after 20 years’ and then I think after seeing this tip, well why not me? Why can’t it be me too?! I’m realizing these women probably also leaned into their feminine and started walking in a more feminine manner so I can too. I don’t know why I’ve been so critical of myself and thinking I can’t change the way I walk.

My 3 minute Out-the-Door Routine: breath spray, brow fill, quick nose contour or a swipe of bronzer, lip gloss, spritz of perfume, check that I’m wearing earrings, a ring & a bracelet or watch, finger-fluff my hair, big sunnies and I’m Out-the-Door. I do this even if I’m in joggers and only running a quick errand. If I look & feel presentable then my mood is cheery & I’m fine with running into ppl. 3 mins is all this takes. Try it everyday for a week & you’ll agree, I promise. 👛 Much luv from NYC xx

Another thought--I would LOVE to walk more like this, but I don't want to attract unwanted male attention. I work as a nurse and def walk with that stiff bullet quickness all over the place, and the other day when I saw a fellow nurse dance for a patient, moving her hips, a male aide shouted, 'Yeah mama!' and his ogling just made me feel unsafe. I don't think I could saunter like this in my neighborhood either....but maybe in the woods alone. I know my feminine energy is stuck but a lot of it is from fear of unsafe guys. I wonder if there is a way to let my feminine energy flow in public, while also feeling protected.
@CraftsmensTerrain10 ай бұрын
Perhaps express it only in places you've considered safe. I work in a male-dominant industry, so striding like one feels safer. If a full sashay feels too risky, maybe a smoother walk (the one taught in deportment videos)?

I realized I stopped allowing my hips to move since I got teased for it as a teen, I just WALKED that way, it came naturally. I don't know if it's from trying to be less "sexy" (never tried to be with my walk...), but I developed pretty tense muscles in my lower back... I will definitely work on letting myself go and flow again!

I try to be modest. When I was a child, I read an article about how women subconsciously swing their hips to attract a mate. I thought, “That’s stupid! I’m not going to do that!” and for a while consciously kept my hips still while walking. This became natural and for probably a decade now, I’ve had a notably “stiff” walk for a lady. Me trying to be modest and not get attention based on my body led to me being a little masculinized! Ugh, I may try to fix it bit-by-bit now. All that goes to say, I feel you 😆
@caricreate22082 ай бұрын
Omg I just realised another thing from my childhood this is insane! I used to be very tombish because my mom did never give me any example of how to be feminine too! She never felt feminine herself, was very rough, didn’t shave, rarely put on makeup or dressed up, never let anyone help herself, wasn’t soft…all of that influenced me! I slowly discovered my feminine energy in my late teen years and now I feel so much better and secure in my feminine side ❤ I know how to carry myself, like cute girly outfits and know how to flirt well. Thank you

Oooooooh #9! I grew up in a household where you just didn’t treat yourself. Other women than us did our nails, other women than us did our makeup. It’s been a mental shift to go… wait yes I’m worth getting a facial, even regularly!!
