Your video was quite helpful and clear.I did view other video to see a specific format and layout. My professionalism is what I need to convey the most.I had worked with one company in different positions for nearly 8yrs.It has been difficult for me to list my achievements and accomplishments because to think about it now,it doesn't seem important. But I am looking at my awards and certificates of honor and I am proud that I made a difference and was acknowledged month over month in superb goals.

"it sounds pretty desperate to me" say's a lot about the jobs you apply for. Positions that do not require any degree, certification, accreditation or perhaps even some college. Professionals with college degrees rarely are desperate for a job. That is usually a term left for the uneducated. Also; you would know that following-up with a post card is pretty common.

would never recommend that level of follow up to a job application. as a recruiter, the continued follow up can seem pushy and desperate. A phone call to confirm receipt either just before or just after the closing date or within a 3 days of sending the application would be my suggestion. Sending thank you cards, etc is not going to stand you out from other candidates.

Like there are many jobs nowadays that do not require a degree or certifications..Anyway, I assure you I am not part of the "uneducated" whatever that means for you and I have yet not met anyone to follow-up with a post card. It just seems like a very obsolete activity. Maybe it was useful before Internet was a thing ...

Just a friendly reminder, it's "you're" not "your". Please use proper grammar when making a professional video.
