Be careful what fish you have your in fridge. The sashimi recipe (or most any fish recipe) will take any kind of fish, so you could easily use your rare or legendary fish.

💯! Never keep legendary fish in the fridge! I started keeping a fishing chest outside after cooking a valuable fish a few times. Pain! But sometimes the valuable fish is for cooking, just not sashimi. I always take the fish I plan to cook into my inventory, since they get used first, then count and watch them disappearing from my inventory as I go. You can’t be too careful, honestly. They also get used in a certain order, so if you sort your inventory, that will be consistent, but I don’t dare say that order. Check the wiki! 😅

omg yes! i've made "legendary" sashimi more than once by accident haha I just display mine in a fishtank with some cutie sea urchins with hats now :]

Pick Beach Farm, upgrade house to max, loot the washed up crates for deluxe retaining soil. Then use DSR to free the greenhouse from sprinkers.

I have a ton of hours and multiple perfection farms and I didn't know about the Green Bean Hotpot recipe. Hearts with Clint are pretty simple as well. Great tip!

I've always played bats and checked in maybe once per season. Just started my first 1.6 run and used mushrooms, cannot tell you how many days I've missed so far

can you make a video talking about how to make the game more enjoyable? i've tryed platinum on steam trying to won the most money in one year multiplayer etc and all of those become boring after some days of playing :/

Are you looking for more challenge ideas? Because I have lots of those. Most do not involve following the game through to perfection, but only playing about a year or two, till you hit an arbitrary goal such as completing the CC or making one million dollars. I had fun exploring the game with different limitations on myself, including: - Never use watering can. See how it feels to free up all that time, try to rely on rain to grow crops, and see how fast you can get sprinklers. Figure out how best to budget for the limited crops you can grow until you upgrade to enough quality sprinklers to cover your farm. Find ways to maximize crops that will grow with only rain. - Use no energy. Find ways (usually bombs) to progress your game without ever using any tool that lowers your energy bar by even one point. You can get as far as Ginger Island this way, though you do need to use a bit of energy to cross the lava moat there. - Poverty Run. Never sell anything. Get rid of your sell bin, and forget about ever selling to a vendor. Find ways to progress your game using only gifts from the mail, and paychecks from Help Wanted or Special Orders and stuff like that. - Early Bird. How far can you progress your game if you have to be in bed by a ridiculously early hour, such as 7am, 9am, or 11am? How many candles do you think you can get at Grandpa's Visit with those limits? - Fishing Challenges. How much money can you make doing nothing but fishing all spring? What other treasures or ores do you gather that way which would help your future run if you wanted to continue playing? - Early Greenhouse. How fast can you get a greenhouse, and how does that change your game play with that resource open so early? My usual is about Egg Festival time, and I find it super fun to plant strawberries in the greenhouse instead of losing them after just two harvests. - Hermit Challenge. Do not leave your farm. You might choose to leave your farm just one or two days a year, for a common variation. The goal here is usually to either complete the CC, or to complete the Joja Community Form. If doing Joja, usually you would get a day out any time you're ready to buy another Community Upgrade from there. - Broader Hermit Challenge: Do not leave "your farm" but farm includes all screens that are touching your farm. So it includes Cindersap forest, the bus stop, and the northern road. With this broader access, how many people can you befriend? What can you accomplish, more than you did with the regular Hermit challenge? - Homeless Challenge. Never use your farm or anything on it. You'll wake up there daily, but immediately have to leave the farm and can do no farming there. Do not use the farm's furniture or TV. Do not use the farm cave. Do not place anything on the farm, including any farm buildings or house upgrades. You will pass out practically every night at 2am unless you have a tent, and this will cost you money, so how do you handle that problem? How do you grow crops? You are allowed to check the mail and you are allowed to upgrade the greenhouse, though you are not allowed to plant anything in the greenhouse. These are ways I've made the game more enjoyable for myself, stretching my ability to strategize and solve crazy problems. I'm sure you might be able to think of more challenges to keep expanding your possibilities! Other than that, some people just do lots of mods, like Stardew Valley Expanded. I don't use mods because I'm not looking for ways to make the game easier. But you do you.
