Awww thank you! Honestly, I have never counted but if I were to guess 600-700 locs?

@@traceynigwe it is no joke!!! With my son still being young i just do a section for about an hour or two when I can fit it in. Doing it in smaller sections helps me not get too overwhelmed or mess up and accidentally interlock two locs. My hair doesn’t seem too grow super fast either.

I was recommended to use a micro fiber towel to dry hair after a wash.and or a tshirt

Your locs are gorgeous! As far as the shedding on your edges, is it possible you experienced post-partum shedding? Usually shedding in those areas may be the result of a hormonal reason.

I’ve considered it as a possibility but i didn’t experience any hair fall after I had my son. I had him in May and didn’t lose my edges until months later I believe. So I think it was improper guidance and care on maintaining those sensitive areas as well as how I was styling to “stretch” my locs. At this point I’ve pretty much ditched all stretching and braiding because my head can’t take that tension. So I blow dry. And thank you!!!! Hope you enjoyed the video 🌹

How often do you retie? And did the frequency change from when you first got them?

So I go about 8 weeks in between reties. I do them myself so sometimes I might extend that to 11-12 weeks but the goal is 8. :)
