I don’t use a Jibun Techo but I have been fascinated by them since discovering them a couple of years ago. Some day, maybe. Love the bookmark idea! I ordered them from your link for my Hobonichi. Thanks.

Awe, thanks for your support, Marie--it's very much appreciated! 😊 2019 will be my third year using the Jibun Techo, a testament to how perfect it is for my planning needs. They're now also available on Jetpens so it's much easier to get a hold of if you're ever curious to give them a try.

Hi from Indonesia! I'm a newbie on Jibun Techo. Trying to search for things about how to use it and landed on your video. Thank you for the video and the explanation. I've got inspiration and reference from you. Once again, thank you for giving me a 'light' in search to know how to use jibun techo :) Have a good day!

The pending list is a great idea! Waiting on something always takes up mental energy and its easy to forget after a while and honestly...who writes a seperate list just for pending items! Lol! Thanks for the inspiration!
@LilDivette4 жыл бұрын
Yes, when I first learned about the pending list years ago, it was life changing. It helped ‘plug’ a hole in my system where things were falling thru the cracks because they were being forgotten. It’s so effective, I use one at home and at work. Glad you found it helpful and thanks again for watching! 😊

Very helpful. I like the way you’ve adapted the planner to suit your needs. Being retired has been a challenge. I especially appreciate using “hours” blocks for different purposes (appointments, tasks etc). Thanks!

You’re very welcome, Sandra! As you mentioned, we go thru different stages in our life so I’ve learned to always find a way to adapt the planner to me, not the other way around. Enjoy your retirement and thanks for watching! 😊📚

I hope the Jibun Techo works as well for you as it has for me, Adri-this will be my 4th year using it! I really wish it had more blank pages so covering up unused pages has really helped. Have a great year at uni and enjoy your new JT! 📚😊

Hi! Thank Your for sharing how your set up your planner. I have never seen this planner before. It's the best planner because it has monthly and weekly with the extras listed pagers. Such as book, appointments, movie's and many other's pagers of list. It's great idea to cover up those other pagers that are no use to you. It make extra pages for lists or adding quotes to a planner. Which I enjoy adding to all my planners. I think the B6 slim my be a good size for me. I hope you have an enjoyable time filling out and writing in your planner during 2020. Thanks again.

Thanks Cherie! 😊 The Jibun Techo has been my ‘planner peace’ since 2017 because of the compact, flexible layouts. Have you seen the new JT Lite? They removed many of the pages I used to cover up and now provide 6 pages ( front and back) of blank checklists and 22 blank grid pages-check out my latest video for more information.

Great review, thank you very much! I really liked the classy LV cover you keep all notebooks together. Could you name a model of this LV piece? The one I found online in their store is only 190 mm long, so it should be not long enough for "hosting" a Jibun Techo in A5. Thanks in advance!
@LilDivette7 жыл бұрын
Hey Tatiana, thanks for watching! The LV TN was made by a TN maker not LV. The seller's name is PaperFlowerDesignStudio and the link to her online store is in the video description--she's very creative and makes a lot of unique and amazing TNs, definitely check her out. HTH!

What a great video! Thank you. I am looking at the Jibun Techo B6 slim myself. I’m new to this planner itself and the size. In your opinion, would a B6 TN or cover be way too big for the B6 slim?
@LilDivette5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Maureen! A B6 cover works perfectly for the Jibun Techo with no excessive overhang. It’s what I use for this planner because I usually carry an extra book and a folder or zip pouch; if you travel light, then a B6 Slim cover works too and it will *just* fit lining up with the edge of the book but if you add anything else to the strings, you’ll get overhang. HTH and thanks for watching! 😊

That does help so much. Thank you!!

I’m a pretty new subscriber and am amazed at your ideas, love them. What I would like to suggest is to list out for us the spellings of items you are using as it is often times hard to determine how to spell it, especially with the foreign type names. Thanks

Thanks Suzanne! I usually include any items I mention in the description of the video but I'll also display the names on screen as well on future videos--thanks for the suggestion!

Hello! Do you think you would need to use date covers for the Jibun? Thank you for your detailed video. ^ _ ^
@LilDivette6 жыл бұрын
Hi Aida! The cover of the Jibun itself is very thin--it's just thick paper but not as heavy as cardstock--so it should definitely be protected by something. I believe it always comes with the thin plastic cover; if not, then you could use any notebook cover you have in the same size or try laminating it to give it some protection. HTH and thanks for watching!
@babboosbabydoll6 жыл бұрын
Hi Divette! Thanks for your reply. Do you think the dates on the Jibun monthly calendar are visible enough or would they need date stickers to show them more prominently? Thank you!
@LilDivette6 жыл бұрын
Aida Pampo Yes, the dates are visible enough on the monthlies and weeklies--I've never had a problem and I wear reading glasses!--however the little icons like for the weather, mood faces, etc. I find they're hard to see because they're so small and a grey color. HTH!

Now that's the ONE thing you shouldn't worry about! Planning gets messy sometimes and that's ok. If you don't like how it turns out, you can always turn over to a new week and start over. The most important thing is that you're getting things done and achieving your goals so have fun with it!

Hi there! The LV cover is from Paper Flower Design Studio and the Wine cover (with the pocket in the front) is from Speckled Fawns. If you'd like to see a more thorough walk-thru of both of these covers where I show the front/back/inside/pockets/etc., check out my "Travelers Notebook Features & Options" video--the LV cover is at the 28:00 minute mark and the Wine cover is at the 31:33 minute mark (or watch the whole thing, I feature a lot of great covers! 😊). Is there not a Jibun STYLE planner for Americans? :/
@LilDivette5 жыл бұрын
Not previously-the month/weekl/day and page labels were also included in English but most of the content was for Japanese users (maps, info pages, etc.) but it seems like Kokuyo is now starting to for 2020. They created a B6 Jibun Techo Mini Lite with more English labels, more blank generic pages and they removed all the Japanese train maps and other content pages. I’ll be sharing a video showing the new Mini Lite and how it differs from the original JT in the next few days. HTH, Mimi, and thanks for watching! 😊
