Good idea about putting FREE on the donations box. Decades ago, I had no furniture at all and was sleeping on the concrete floor of a studio apartment. I worked from 9pm until 6am. I went home for lunch one night about 2am and there was a nice twin mattress leaning up against the Coke machine with a "FREE" sign on it. I had slept on that concrete floor for about two months. I have back issues. It was brutal. When I walked into the foyer of the apartment complex and saw that mattress and the sign on it, oh man, I grabbed that thing and wrestled it into the elevator and up to my apartment. It looked and smelled brand spanking new. It was glorious.

Thank you for making this video. I've had this book on my "To Read" list for the longest time and have never been able to find the spoons for it. This summary was very helpful. Looking forward to more of your videos!

I really, really liked this video! I get so overwhelmed by all these self help books that I don't know where to start! This was one I was thinking about buying for a while and I think I will but it now.

Nice! Great tips. A lot I try to do, but there were some new ones in there for me. For some weird reason I went from reading a book or two a week to literally zero after a baby. That’s when adhd hit me hard, and now I can’t seem to read anything….so thanks for this summary!

No problem!! I’ve had multiple phases of my life now (and still occasionally go through periods) where I couldn’t even get off the couch to feed myself, let alone pick up a book. I hope to make this information accessible to everyone going through similar difficulties.

When you have ADHD and you live with someone who also has ADHD. You want to throw things out and they want to keep it all because 'those books are worth money' then does nothing to pack them up or even find anyone who wants them.

Hi there! Spoon theory is a common metaphor in the neurodiverse and chronic illness communities referring to the amount of energy tasks take in a day based on our symptoms. Here’s an article if you’re interested! www.washingtonpost.com/wellness/2023/01/14/spoon-theory-chronic-illness-spoonie/

Too much introduction pls get to the topic the video suggests, reason being I almost left the video and annoyed waiting for the topic to begin, it could do the same to your audience. 🤷 Ty
