Btw canceling meditation (3+4) into 1ss BT d1, doesn't really require 1+2 and can be done with 1 instead (0:45) Also, a cool trick with b 1+2 (which enters KIN stance) is that it avoids highs. CD 2, db 1 and db 1+2 have a similar property. They can be used to duck jabs as well, pretty cool huh.

@CameronPerry-eq8mz I recommend you first practice a simple drill. You enter meditation (3+4) and then you press b~d/b so that it cancles into a back crouch, which should create a lot of distance (unlike only back, which doesn't). Once you are able to do this input consistently, you can then add the 1 input, pressed at the same time (b~d/b + 1) to do the BT d1 from meditation.

@eyemusician i ve been testing the situation you are showing at 3:45 but it looks like at some angles (kind of hard to control wheter if you are in the right one or not) flash after d22 will be avoided by crouching

Hey Eyemusician, sad to knwo you can't compete until the end of your mitilitary service, hope it's going well for you there. I didn't saw it there but did you know there is a tech with ff2 at a combo ender with heat ? if you press f1+2 at the moment you turn yourself combo is guaranted if the opponent do anything else than staying on the ground. Found it pretty cool. Thanks again for your tips always super cool, especialy the lowblock punish was kinda angry that i can't do anything except ws4 as a punish now i'm a happy man.

4:24 actually there is a ~2 frame window where you can side roll left to avoid d2, but it's pretty hard so I don't think many people will do it.

Sword stance. It just means having your sword out. The reason it's 1SS and not SS, is because SS is sidestep.

Moves which require shifting to "Mutou no Kiwami" are notated out of game with NSS (no sword stance). 1SS (one/with sword stance) is the converse, the notation for Yoshi's default stance at round start.
