I haven't actually had any regrets - I am so careful with my luxury purchases, I have over 30 luxury bags in my collection and I've never sold a single one! I think the best way to avoid regrets is to be absolutely certain that the bag you're buying is perfect for you beforehand :)

About the Gucci Dionysus...oh my goodness! I have it in black suede trim instead of the taupe ( but the taupe is gorgeous too) and I think it’s the ultimate! In all of those mod shots you showed us - it looks awesome! But yes, I do wish it had a longer chain for cross body . I don’t need to carry so much , so I like the size, but of course not as an everyday bag, but I do not use any of my designer bags just for daily running around.

Don't buy the Dior Saddle bag. it was my first luxury purchase many years ago. the shape is too weird to store anything. 3 yrs later I sold it away at half the retail price. Now I prefer Hermes and Chanel.

Really love this Niki! Such great advice. One thing I’ve learned about myself is that I absolutely love finding a great deal or fantastic sale and when I do I want to jump on it simply because it’s such a good deal. Sometimes I end up buying things I wouldn’t have bought otherwise because I’m saving so much money. But then sometimes I don’t end up using that piece and so it was money wasted. So now before I buy something on sale for a great deal, I pause and ask myself if I like it enough to have paid it regular price. If the answer is no then I don’t buy it. Thanks again for such great advice!

Thank you for these tips! I have such a hard time finding shoes. I am overweight and have wide sized feet. I have the blue Prada bag in black. I used to have it in beige but the gold hardware stained on the leather. I went back 4 times. I recieved a new bag 4 times.... eventually i recieved the black one so no more stains :) But i will say... this bag is not for every day use.. the corners get damaged quickly. For €1690 I expected a little bit more.. I look for a high quality crossbody bag for every day use. Help a girl out

I completely agree. I had to get mine re-pipped only after less than a year of having it :( have you checked out any vintage Chanels? the smaller ones are perfect for crossbody and they are great for everyday wear xx

Same! Love the bag and would never sell. But had it reglazed and it cracked again. It took 2 months to get back and the straps are too heavy for hooks. I never wear it cross body. Classic bag tho.

The LV eva clutch in monogram. Fits nothing and it looks like a super casual bag :/ I normally use totes on an everyday basis so it was useless. Sold it to a friend after a few months but I took a hit and lost money. I still own an old medium Chanel Boy and a Celine Trapeze. I force myself to wear them since I paid a lot for them... but they are not comfy nor do they carry all of my shit. I am marrying my Longchamp and my St Louis Tote. No more fancy mini bags
