Very good, very useful tips. And most mportantly greatly presented! Clear speech, great mic, understandable version of english and NO BACKGROUND NOISE!! (sound/music, as in many other YT vids) Truly appreciated!!! 🤩 I'll check more of your stuff.

Thanks some are better than others, in a couple the mic was messed up but I have gotten much better since that issue (was cathy I think)

For your 2nd tip, I'd argue drinking to victory is only useful until you finish capturing your starting province to give you that early growth bonus and PO bonus for additional growth to get you to tier 4 a little faster. Then you can start getting your OP units and increasing hero caps. Almost any other time the oath gold is better because getting your lords and heroes fully decked out with fancy runes and equipment as soon as possible will get you better long term results. Also a growth tip for the Dwarves. Rush the growth and Control bonuses in the Dwarf tech tree as your first set of research. Base level growth for the Dwarves is atrocious. Always run the Growth comandments in your provinces in the early to mid game. It may be worth it later to switch to get extra tax rate when you hit tier 4 or 5. Even though you might not have Public order problems because of tech and keeping grudges low, so you may never get rebellions. Building a Drinking Hall in every province is important. Maintaining high control is important for maintaining growth for the Dwarves. Let's say you newly conquered a 3 settlement province all tier 1. Each settlement only has 5 base growth. If you are at -25 control you lose 10. Meaning you only gain 5 growth a turn. If you get to -50 control you are losing 15 growth which is the same as a growth building gives basically cancelling it out. At -75 control you lose a whopping 25 growth. Let's say you have 3 tier 3 settlements in a province your base growth is only 30 so losing 25 will grind your progression to a halt.

@@LordForwind WOW you weren't kidding. He was baby shaking Malekith after i managed to ambush him during a skaven chase. The oath gold crafting stuff and what's worth or not worth is a bit tricky for me at the start now tho but pretty interesting to see it involves regular item drops aswell.

Aw man, I just beat a campaign as the dwarves recently. Good list though. As someone who usually plays very offensive races the defensive play style of the dwarves really shook things up for me.

Its always perplexed me, that the dwarves don't have spears

In defiance of most fantasy, but I think its so they have a weakness

Tall person with spear still beats short person with spear. Also it's a cultural thing.

@@Dethmajick hmm short person might have an advantage, lower center of gravity to brace against cav charges. But thats more pikemen which very oddly dont exist in this world for some reason!

The Dawi understands that fighting with spears underground is tough. You don´t have space for long weapons there. Thats why axs and hammers are their prefered weapons.
@ryanmaris19175 ай бұрын
You can play very offensive as dwarves using slayers. Just not against factions that bring really good range.
@LordForwind5 ай бұрын
You can but slayers alone wont usually win you the campaign unless you are the slayer King and then its usually him that wins for you.

all you need to do is siege them down. Taking out 1 or two armies is easy enough, getting to 10-15 early sucks.. they need to fix this once beast of a race..

? Not sure of the question. You need the first tw1 game on your account to unlock some factions and the second tw2 to unlock others.

i cant be bothered to sit on my ass when im attacking a foe as the dwarves i will pound the enemy with long range weapons while my phalanx of various dwarven warriors moves forward to engage the enemy , once i deem the infantry close enough all ranged fire stops and i charge in if i wanted to play in a passive and purely ˝defensive˝ style i would play the wood elves which i ofcourse wont do because i find that rather boring
@LordForwind7 ай бұрын
yeah dwarfs and elfs are defensive! You should play the slayer dwarf lords, much more aggressive!
