Starts with drums and horns, at 2:35 the cello slowly comes in like it’s charging up before it fully comes in at 2:50 then starts to taper off at 5:00 so the brass horns can taking over at 5:19 where the beat slowly increases with intensity before slowing down again so the chorus can take over at 8:10 and go back and forth with the horns (both supported by cello) until finally at 9:25 it’s drums, cello, horns, and chorus all working together where the chorus and drums follow one beat while the cello and horns follow another yet all four remain perfectly in tune with one another. The music goes from disorganized Qunari caught off guard to wave after wave of organized Qunari infantry coming down on you with archer and saarebas support.

@Dark_Voice2 жыл бұрын
Too bad the Qunari are so pathetic, my Dorien + Inquisitor + Cassandra + Varric could probably defeat their entire army, conquer Par Vollen and push into their mainland alone. Seriously, I fought them easier than wild bears, Great Terrors AND the most powerful enemies - the Hakkonite bowmen would tear them to shreds. Seriously, I think Jaws of Hakkon dont need the stupid dragon, just go and conquer the south because you have the best troops. Qunari were always made super easy to fight - only problematic part about them was the oneshotting nightmare Saarebas but by late game it was easily handled by my Warrior Hawke as well. => I never feared any invasion from them because I just butchered them to no end while having full HP and full guard on everyone and they just randomly came and died.

@@Dark_Voice ughhhh...u are only defeating them cause you are the hero of the story bro, like in any game xD that doesn't make u unstoppable, if the writers decide to make the Qun invade trust me they ain't looking at ur stats or how good u can fight in the game lol
@Dark_Voice2 жыл бұрын
@@forsakeneremith3770 No, you would play as either Human, Dwarf, Elf or Tal-Vasoth and you stop it by wrecking them even harder because you'll play someone even more powerful than the Inquisitor because of Solas. Of course, bad writing can make a squirrel stop the Qunari invasion and as it happens, BW has tons of it lately.

@@Dark_Voice You can't really use the power of a very few skilled and powerful individuals and use that as a baseline for everything. You have to remember that the people we learn about through the games, the companions to our Warden, Champion or Inquisitor, are all very skilled, and very powerful individuals - but they are extremely few in numbers, and can be killed. They can't be used as an argument on the big picture of things. In the lore it took all the nations of Thedas to push the Qunari back in a war that lasted more than a century. The Qunari first appeared in 6:30 Steel (300 years before the events of Dragon Age: Origins) when they landed on Par Vollen, which at the time was a part of the Tevinter Imperium. The Qunari quckly took Par Vollen, and the war with Tevinter began. In 6:32 Steel, they landed at Seheron and Rivian. The attack on Rivian began the Qunari Wars of Thedas. In 6:35 they conqurered Antiva. In 6:42 Steel they had taken most of the Tevinter Imperium, taken Antiva and had begun to attack the Free Marches. It was only Minrathous that managed, despite being besieged, to stay un-conqurered. In 6:85 what remained of the human nations banded together, and started pushing the Qunari back. It wasn't until 7:32, more than a century after the Qunari Wars began, that the human nations managed to push the Qunari back to Seheron and Rivain.But the Qunari held on to both with zeal. In 7:35 Storm, in desperation, the Andrastian Chantry and Imperial Chantry united and declared the New Exhalted March, which were the first of 3 exhalted marches. The Circle of Magi arose to fame during these marches against the Qunari. It wasn't until 7:84 Storm the Qunari Wars finally ended, having lasted 154 years. The peace led to the Llomerryn Accord, in which the Qunari returned all conqurered areas, except Par Vollen, and turned back to Par Vollen. You need to know how bad the situation was when the Orlesian Empire joined forces with the Tevinter Imperium, something that even the Blights had a hard time doing. In the current setting of the Dragon Age games, Thedas would get absolutely fucked if the Qunari decided to make an full scale invasion again. The 5th Blight in 9:30 Dragon has left Ferelden weak, and is still rebuilding in 9:42 Dragon (where we are now). In 9:40 Dragon Corypheus arrives and the Inquisition is formed. During 9:40 Dragon the civil war in the Orlesian Empire almost fractures the empire, and Orlais is currently weak. The Tevinter Imperium is also nothing but a shadow than it was during the Qunari Wars. At the same time, we have Solas doing what the hell he is doing. Sorry for the wall of text. TL:DR The Qunari are strong as hell, no one knows how many there are, or where they come from. And they have proven before to be very much able to take Thedas.

@@vasred4265 This is what I love about the scores in DA, the layering of beats and orchestra that builds up to the full score to serve a narrative purpose. The soundtrack is so well done throughout the game, particularly in the Arbor Wilds and then also in Trespasser before you confront Solas.
