In reference to the hallway ghost story: I have lived in the house that my husband and I reside in for the majority of my life. I had told him stories of what I’d seen or experienced through the years and for the most part he’d chalk it up to me just exaggerating things. I have always either seen or sensed something in the hallway (as well in other parts of the house) and it’s always prompted me to hurry through to my room, only when I was going to my room though, not leaving it. Have you ever gotten the feeling that someone was behind you or watching you? That’s what they would do to me. It didn’t necessarily scare me, but it did make me uncomfortable and very nervous and it never followed me passed the doorway, like it had to stop there and could go no further. Someone else would walk around in my room and occasionally sit at the foot of the bed, sometimes I’d even feel them placing their hand on my foot or across my ankle. This never really scared me though, they didn’t really give off that kind of vibe. There’s been more than one strange event happen in my home, but it’s home and I don’t think anything negative lives here, anymore.

I've been a funeral director for about 25 Years now and I've had my fair share of demonic and paranormal experiences! Me and my co-workers and even my boss like Listening to your stories while we're working! Of course we won't go places alone after listening to them :) Is there another other funeral director or funeral home staff member out there?!? I can't be the only one!

Cecilia Cassis: It's a family owned funeral home! So my co-workers are actually my cousins and sisters! But I did work my way up from receptionist to head funeral director and once you do that you get used to seeing some things that seem unusual but they become usual along the way. When you work at a family owned funeral home the staff members tend to be more friendlier and understanding compared to a snobby corporate funeral home! Story: On my first week there was a mass shooting at a local hospital and at the time I was a receptionist! They ran out of freezer space and so they ended up turning the air conditioning on full blast to "store" some of the bodies in my office due to the overflow. That night I worked the entire night with a fellow co-worker but he was downstairs preparing the bodies while I was stuck upstairs with bodies in my Office.

I used to walk past a family owned funeral home earlier this year before I moved. It would be my night rout to get home. There was always someone looking out of the huge ground level bay windows. I only had the courage to look into the windows a few times walking by and they would stare right back. 😖

Cecilia Cassis: Terrifying! But there's always a night manager or secretary or funeral director on call during the night walking around making sure everything is alright! And since it's a family owned funeral home the family and staff may live Above the mortuary or downstairs. I've had the unnerving task of staying at the funeral home during the holidays especially around Christmas and Halloween they assign me as the 'Night Guard". The night guard usually has a can of mace or a baseball bat Incase a burglar or unruly curious teens decide to break in and mess around with things...

I have seen many different spirits, true good, average and truly evil. The funny one was I was on the toilet upstairs and didn't have the door shut (home alone) and I looked up and this young man, around 14, was stood leaning on the bannister and grinning at me. Shocked me a bit, but I got up and shut the door. He stayed around quite a while and we used to enjoy his company. Even visiting friends enjoyed his company. I miss him a bit. They can be truly lovely, but also truly horrid. Be careful what you wish for.

The woman with the cell phone issue needs to buy a fire arm. After she gets it she needs to check her primary AC filters. In some homes the vent that houses air filters are large enough for a small malnourished homeless man to squeeze into and hide in while the home owners are home. Its actually a problem in new and used homes. One of my friends with CHP told me a story about a meth head who worked as a day laborer on a new apartment complex that was being built. He had gotten a hold of a few keys and was sleeping in different apartments. When tenants found enough items missing one of them set up cameras thinking he'd catch a maintenance worker. He found a lunatic eating food from his fridge and sleeping in a large a.c. vent. The guy was still in the apartment while he was calling the police.

One night, when I was a teenager, I was lying in bed reading a book. I had two table lamps on, one next to my bed and the other across the room from me, so it was fairly bright. In my peripheral vision directly in front of me I see a dark streak come out of nowhere, heading toward the floor at the foot of my bed. I looked up, sure I was just seeing things, until I heard it hit some papers lying on the floor there. Maybe it was just a bug, but it had looked more like a flying shadow, long and trailing like a comet or shooting star does. Freaked me out, I think I slept with the lights on that night, LOL!

I lived in a haunted house. Whatever it was would walk up and down the metal roof at night or around the outside of my house. Sounded like a 300 pound man in work boots. My neighbor would check for me and never found anything. I had to keep really bright night lights throughout the house at night or it would walk up and down my hallway. My two little dogs and my cat would stay in bed with me because they were freaked out. I never wanted to meet whatever that thing was :(

I have a really creepy story, when I was 15, well now I am 17, I was home alone because my mum was at work, until 5am, I just need to say I live in a big town in south Australia, first I was watching tv, and than I heard a noise from my backyard but I just thought it was my dog coco, so I went to let him in and closed the door and locked it again, I went to watch more tv, I was watching home and away and other movies and tv shows, when I noticed coco wasn't with me I got up and called for him but he didn't come so I looked for him and I found him near the back door looking deeply outside, l said his name and he got up from laying down and looked at me, so walked back to the lounge, when I looked at my phone I saw that it was 12.00am something so I decided to go to sleep so I turned off the tv and walked down the hall to my bedroom that is at the end of the hall, so I got dressed for bed and slowly fell asleep, when I woke up it was 2.30am in the morning l didn't no why l woke up but the only thing l did know that coco was not on my bed and l needed water, so l got up turned the lights on, walked down the vary dark hall way to my kitchen and that's where l saw coco looking into the lounge room just looking, so l walked to the sink to have a drink, but in the corner of my eye l see the back door wide open, so l looked into the lounge and there l see a big guy holding a baseball bat just looking out me, so l started to run to the bathroom, the only door with a lock on it, the only reason why l past the home phone is because he started running after me so l couldn't get to it, l went in to the bathroom locked myself in there, after about 6 hours of being in there and him trying to bash down the door my mum came home, is when he ran from the house, when my mum called me for why l was in there, l unlocked the door and gave her a big hug for saving me, that is when l told her what happened, she called the police and told them what happened, after waiting for 5 minutes the police showed up and talked to me and my mum, after about 4 months of waiting and never being home alone, they caught the guy, they told my mum why he was in my house and why he was caught, just few days ago is when she told me what he had done to other girls, a girl aged 13 was raped and murdered in her house alone, and the reason why he was caught is because another girl was home alone, she got raped but just before he was about to murder her, her brother came home from working for 10 hours for being a cop, he tacked him down outside and putted hand cuffs on him and called the police. he got prison time, l have just started staying home alone again about a week ago, l hope to never see that man again
